Me too, seems to be a recurring theme here. Maybe he can just cut out Italy’s performance and we should be ok. Good thing I saw it before it got blocked
I saw it yesterday but the opening song was sound blocked. I think that one may have been the problem. I know Italy are terrible for copywrite striking but it wasn't Italy I guess with Domingo being deceased he isn't so bothered about his writing revenue.
Fud Leclerc died in 2010 to borrow from the great snarky Swedish legend Edward - Fud obciously took one look at Copycat in 2009 and thought if this is what my country has come to I'm outta here.

I was thinking 60 was a better time then it first appeared but after UK and Sweden the quality dipped for Luxembourg which is a bit meh and then went off the cliff with Denmark - it has all the things that annoy me about France without being as good. Fud Leclerc rescued it a bit but he didnt quite elevate it - apart from him the song's a bit dull. I watched the voting so i know Monaco will save the day later oh here comes Norway 😅 you're right its a great debut it used to be my fav this year until i discovered Monaco. Austria - Ok after how can a song about fascination be so dull? Oh Switzerland's good. Ok the Netherlands continue a surpringly good time as do Germany - love the Spainish touches to it i wish it leaned harder into that but its still enjoyable. I will never trust Chris West's judgement again. Italy's a bit of an Italian cliche except there's the odd moment when i hear a bit of early rock n'roll in there which is both good in that its melodic and well sung but its also its a bit cliched and languid to really float my boat. Had another country sent it I'd probably call it dull but i like the way Italian sounds sung. Eurovision is proof positive that there isnt a genre that doesn't sound good sung in Italian except Country and Western maybe. Oh France is sound blocked oh what shame 😜 I've never liked that song - I call it Tom Philitwee because that's what I find it. It's more tolerable listening to it again in context (it's full version appears at the start of the 61 results or watchalong) but it'll never be my winner.
