- Could it be possible that Huey, Dewey and Louie’s father is actually evil? Today I go through whether or not the partner of Della Duck may have actually been lazy or negligent or just plain evil. Did he try to join the Duck family for the McDuck fortune? Or is he an agent for FOWL? Let’s expand on my original theory where I explained that Mr. Duck may have went after Della Duck may have been an astronaut searching for her, and go through my new thoughts on his possible mysterious backstory and past.

Do you think Huey, Dewey, and Louie's father is evil? Let me know below! Also, you may have seen that I had a live stream go live and then instantly go away. I was having a lot of technical difficulties so put my time into finishing this video for today. This week definitely didn't go the way I was expecting it to, but I have a lot of ideas that will be getting completed soon and I was glad this discussion could be finished up. Isaac I think that he was taken by fowl maybe by webby’s parents because of his connection to the duck family , and they were trying to figure out were webby was and he has been held their since but everyone thought he left and was a dead beat

It's possible after losing Della he was in no way emotionally or mentally stable enough to take care of the triplets that could be way Donald got custody
The fact that he’s never mentioned AT ALL could mean several things.
1. He died very early on. Even before Della laid the eggs. His loss devastated her and her family so much that Della made sure that he’s never mentioned because of how much she mourned. Even after she disappeared they never mentioned him.
2. They weren’t married and he simply left Della because it didn’t work out.
3. My personal theory: If he worked for the military maybe one of his missions involved F.O.W.L and he was captured. Presumed Dead by his allies. But then turned into a Cyborg Agent Like Taurus Bulba. Full on Winter Soldier style.
4. The worst scenario. The Writers ignored/forgot his existence. But since they finally brought back Della this is unlikely.

Maybe he was a random drunk fling and Della never actually knew his name. Plus, that would be really embarrassing to explain to the kids...
Here's an idea. What if the triplets father was literally a one time fling for Della; a nice guy but wasn't really of the mindset to settle down? He never knew that she was 'pregnant' having left and just went his own way after their brief encounter. After all, Della does seem to be the reckless sort and I think touching on children born out of wedlock would be something the modern Ducktales could dive into (whereas it would be a taboo topic during the original run).
That would explain why Louie is *"the evil triplet"*

Having the triplets' dad as a FOWL member sounds like an intriguing idea, whether it'd be through mind-control or on his own free will. If he's still alive and working for the organization, this could add another layer to Della's character, and possibly that of Donald and Scrooge. Maybe Huey could get involved, similar to when Dewey and Webby were investing Della's own disappearance.
Or if we're going with the 'killed by FOWL for betrayal' theory, maybe that could tie in with Taurus Bulba's involvement. The latter indirectly killed Gosalyn's grandfather in "Darkwing Duck," so if he did something similar to HDL's dad, that could also be an interesting way of having Gosalyn connect with HDL, and later join their group of friends.

He might’ve been a soldier who dated Della & planned to propose. Then FOWL bosses learned he could be another of Scrooge’s heirs & disposed of him, but too late since Della was already going to lay eggs. They’d probably find out if he went to ask Scrooge for his blessing or permission to propose. Or FOWL might’ve tried to bribe him, if he refused then he was disposed of and framed for leaving despite dying to protect Della’s family.
I find it strange that even if the boys held a grudge against their father why they wouldn't question Della about it although maybe she could have given them the same answer as Donald did about him leaving the family. Though I don't believe that they would give up so easily similarly to their search for the truth about Della.
I feel Huey, Dewey and Louie's father has to be part of FOWL. Quite similar with also Webby's parents as well.
Except I don’t think they’d double up like that I feel like they would have completely different stories instead of similar ones

There is the possibility that, if you recall, Mrs. Beakly stated that Scrooge pushed away his family again. It's possible, that before Dellah had taken to the stars, the boys' father was advising against Scrooge on creating the ship in the first place, with his sons on the way, he and Donald didn't want their mother to go off on another adventure with their boys' hatch day nearing. Perhaps, he was aware of F.O.W.L. and felt if Scrooge did this, the organization may try to pull something. And here's a twist, Scrooge is denying that the so called F.O.W.L. is even trying to be at Scrooge's throat, so after too many arguments, the boys' father left to try and do something since Scrooge wouldn't, but while no one was looking, an agent of F.O.W.L. had gotten to the ship, and the interesting part, was that they sabotaged the launch, to keep the Duck family from getting to other worlds and taking due credit for their achievement, since F.O.W.L. wanted to get there first. It would be a great twist that states why Dellah couldn't make it through the cosmic storm.

Because to some women the concept of marriage/getting a partner as a whole is generally rooted in forced expectations of a "proper woman's life", misogyny and "ownership" of a woman. To others they don't see a partner as nascasary because as I've mentioned

I have a personal theory that while Della was on an adventure she feel in love with the dadand they had a night out together. When she left she found out that she was pregnant, or she had eggs. It was too late to tell the dad he was the father for some reason.

Theory:lauchpad is the father because when dela came to earth her and lauchpad's relationship was wacky and the reason why lauchpad wanted to keep the boys safe and they kept it a secret because it would be to weird or something

I think that you are looking at Della as a good mother, but she is not half the parent that Donald is . I do think that she has a need to do amazing adventurous things . However unlike Donald she did not realize when you have kids you need to be more cautious in your adventures so that you are safe to raise your kids . Even though she is around now, she acts more like a friend to the boys than a parent. I think if we list the adults in the boys life as who acts like a parent the most it would be Donald, Scrooge, Mrs Beakley then lastly Della. No matter what biology says about who the boys parents are, to me their mother and father is Donald

Daisy’s nieces just if you don’t know how they are
As I have mentioned on this topic before, I believe that Huey, Dewey and Louie's dad hasn't really been addressed in the show and I don't know if the writers of the show are going to go down that path. So, anything about him is up in the air. Although until proven otherwise by the show, I do believe that he is still alive. I also believe that there is a chance that he might not even know that he has kids. And if the writers of the show do bring him into it, whether or not he's good or evil still remains to be seen.
I like the idea of Mr. Duck being a soldier who was brainwashed into joining F.O.W.L. and becoming something of a DuckTales version of the Winter Soldier, but I also like the idea of him starting out as a F.O.W.L. agent, and then turning traitor after meeting and falling in love with Della. Maybe his mission was to seduce her so he could get close enough to Scrooge and kill him, but things changed as he got to know Scrooge and Donald more, and as he continued to genuinely fall in love with Della. Rather than carry out his mission, Mr. Duck told a bullshit lie about how he only got with Della to get Scrooge's money, which resulted in them cutting all ties with him. Then, maybe he went on the run knowing full well F.O.W.L. would come after him, and he's been running ever since to keep Della and the others safe. Maybe he didn't even know Della was pregnant when he left, but in all reality, he probably did, which was why he felt he had to leave. The last thing he would have wanted was for F.O.W.L. to hurt his sons, so he left to protect them. And because he hasn't been in contact with anyone for the last decade, he doesn't know F.O.W.L. is plotting against clan McDuck. Or, maybe he does know, and he's trying to take them down before they hurt his family.
Having said all that, I feel like this somehow contradicts the theory that Webby's parents may be F.O.W.L. agents. I really like that theory, but the idea that Webby's parents and Huey, Dewey, and Louie's father all worked for F.O.W.L. seems a little too convenient and lazy. The only way I could see that working is if Webby's parents were and are still evil, or if they died as loyal agents of F.O.W.L. It might be better if it turned out that Webby's parents were S.H.U.S.H. agents who died in the line of duty. And if DuckTales wanted to get really dark, they could make it so that Mr. Duck killed them while still working for F.O.W.L. Maybe that's too much, but kids shows do have a tendency to get dark and heavy at times.
Well, Webby is a clone of Scrooge. But you’re not wrong with the fact that Webby’s Parent worked for SHUSH (because in the Agent 22 files you can see Scrooge working with Ms. Beackly who is Agent 22)

I wonder if it's possible that Donald and Scrooge simply don't know who the triplet's father is? I wonder if it's something that Della decided to keep to herself. For reasons I'm not sure, I'll leave that to the professionals. Maybe he WAS a FOWL agent? Dunno, super mysterious. Hopefully one day they will let us know.
Personally, Me and my BFF believe it just didn't work out between him and Della and so they left each other.
The reason for never bringing him up is, for Donald and Scrooge, he left Della when he knew she was going to lay eggs, which they find very selfish. For Della, perhaps she wants to forget what ever happened with him and move on or it's a painful subject to bring up, the same reason why Donald and Scrooge never really talked about Della in the beginning.
I could see some of the other things, but I don't think Disney is going to be bringing him in anytime soon, so I doubt those will become real.
As for a video suggestion, What about how Della and Webby may be related?
I've seen another youtuber do this, but just think about it. Their hairstyles are VERY similar. Their personalities are VERY similar. They share a lot of similarities.
Now we know that Della only laid 3 eggs when she had the boys, so cannonly idk how this would hold up, but idk They are just TOO similar to pass it off as a coincidence.
I mean, we've seen girl ducks with different styles of hair, so it's not like the artists are being lazy.
Some could argue that she gets her personality from Mrs. Beakly, where I do agree with. But she also looked up to Della, not knowing a thing about her.
There is just a lot of potential here.
Della took the Spear to go after her husband, the boys' father, to bring him home, because we WAS an Astro"duck" and he was lost in space. Problem was, Scrooge, for all his money, while still producing several of the most capable spacecraft possible at that time, did not build the support infrastructure and personnel similar to NASA. Della's behavior, before and after this, has more to do with her trying to cope with losing her husband then being stranded on the Moon.
I would not be shocked if "Dad" comes home as some space hero.
I'm glad the Ducktales fandom is coming together to solve this mystery. Here is my theory on what happened to him:
Knowing Della, she is kinda stubborn and does stupid things. Maybe she snuck out at night and met him on the streets.
I do like all the theories. They all can be possible outcomes.
DELLA WE ARE GOING TO FIND OUT IF ITS THE LAST THING WE DO!

Fun idea but it’s Disney, they wouldn’t do it
No matter the circumstances, it would make sense for him to probably be a FOWL agent. One of the writers actually mentioned there are more agents we don't know the identity of. He probably could have been used by them at first to get deeper into the Duck Family to bring Scrooge down, but ended up changing his ways after meeting and getting to know Della, Donald, and Scrooge. His disappearance maybe followed after as a consequence. If this would be the case, I wouldn't be surprised if he appeared or was hinted at by the end of Season 3.
I always just figured that it was a one-night stand and it never comes up because no one knows who the father is.
I think we should be done with mysteries on HDL. Maybe an episode where he appears and Della's like: no. Ew. Or where have you been? but I think we should be done with major plot revolving around them specifically.
Or maybe she wanted clones of herself and that was a prototype of real clones thanks to Gyro Gearloose-
Yes, please people, I also DON'T want to deal with another Huey, Dewey, and Louie, paternal mystery that might cause another argument and break up with the Duck family again. Especially when F.O.W.L is out there to get them.

Launchpad can be the father .
After some serious fight between Della and him , it was accident (crash) he lost his memory at and become that stupid .
None knew about their love and Della decided to keep it secret when she has returned.
Della has stolen the rocket to get the moon, but why? It was supposed for her .Why she left her children and flight earlier? It could be a depression ,she needed to be attracted .
When Della returned, she always annoyed and mad at launchpad without any real reason . However her children strongly love launchpad , while they are not so close to Guro gearloose ,Fenton Crackshell , darkwingduck or to any other character more interesting for them than launchpad .
By the way, della and launchpad both are pilots, so you can see their first meeting easily .
None know why, but della hates all like fish, seaweed and sea slimming stuff at all . What if the reason is that mermaid that were calling launchpad from the ocean in one of the previous episodes ?
And just ... don't you see , they looks perfectly together, even their style is similar !

I searched it up and all I could find is it could have been daisy’s brother but I’m not sure if that’s true though cause it really doesn’t make since for that reason in the reboot
Frank already confirmed that Daisy's brother is not into consideration and Frank completely rejected that idea... Daisy's brother idea was by Don Rosa never made official... Other writers also didn't support Rosa's statement... We can rule out that idea...

Well, actually, even if Scrooge and Donald didn't talk about her at first, they did still had (at least one?) photo of her in the mansion. So... yeah it makes sense why the triplets would be more interested in finding their mother than their father because, unlike Della, the family doesn't seem to have at least one single photo about him anywhere.

I think that if the triplets dad is evil he might be the phantom blot aka funso from fun zone. If that's the case then he's never truly left his kids lives and he's been monitoring them and waiting for one of them to show signs of evil, i.e. a weakness within the duck family dynamic. We haven't seen his face yet so he could be a duck or maybe not. To expand on this Fowl could have assigned him to have him to have kids with Della so Fowl could have three potential evil Scrooges.
I bet the dad is a conman. Louie had to get his personality from somewhere.

Father: launchpad? Sister: Webby? All memories of the dad of the triplets erased. If the father was evil or launchpad an egg could have been taken or bumped out of the nest. On an adventure, Memories of the father and the fourth egg could have been erased.
But webby is older then the boys and even if the boys and della didn't remember launchpad was the father people around them would.

I think it's possible that after losing Della he fell into a deep depression which isn't unreasonable to assume he became emotionally and mentally unstable making it impossible for him to care for the triplets properly
I wonder if Abner Duck will work for FOWL in this series. His aggressive personality and nickname Whitewater both fit in nicely and it would explain why Scrooge keeps putting Fethry in hard to find places.

I thought Louie got his greed from his Uncle Scrooge and p.s whoever said anything about being greedy is the same as being evil? I mean sure I understand Louie was called "the evil triplet" before but only I'm just trying to say that because there's a difference between those two words. Also, you know Louie being "the evil triplet" was supposed to be considered a joke, right?

A personal theory I had about Mr. Duck was that he did have an adventurous spirit like Della and Donald. He join the navy, met Donald, and then fell in love with Della. That part of the story is cemented for me. But, unlike Della, he knew when to hang up his adventurous spirit. They were going to have three children, and any parent knows that even raising one child is a hassle to say the least never mind triplets. He knew when to retire from adventuring in order to raise Huey, Dewey, and Louie and that caused some friction between him and Della, about whether or not they can still adventure together or not. I can imagine it being heartbreaking, maybe somethings were said that shouldn't have been said, and he leaves. I can imagine a scenario going down like that, but I do find it weird that he is never mentioned or talked about, cause even if he did walk out on the family, Huey, Dewey, and Louie would still have questions about him like they had their mother.
I think that their dad did something wrong that the family and so the family decided to make him leave the family.

They don't speak of him AT ALL. So either he was so bad that he left the family and they don't speak of him since. Or he died a tragic death. So the family doesn't acknowledge him because of such painful memories.
Not necessarily. Maybe he brings back so many bad memories that everybody just decides it's better to just avoid the subject altogether.
I really like the one you stated, which was about their father trying to go after Scrooges fortune. Because so far in the show, there are a lot of characters who try and take his fortune that it seems more logical for the nephews father to be one of them.

Throwing in another theory... do with it as you want. The question is, why did Della steal the Spear of Seline and go into space, abandon her children and somehow go through asteroid belts? My theory is, he is missing and Della joining the adventures could also signify her looking for him. However, I agree, I don't think he has good relations with the remaining family, as in why no one mentions him. In fact, I kind of see him a little more like cousin Gladstone, someone who is somewhar of an opposite of Scrooge and Donald, but instead of luck I would imagine someone who loves adventures.
After all, I have kept wondering why Della, soon to be mother, would be willing to do something as dangerous as that, knowing her children may never meet their mother? It is a very unmotherly thing to do, and I don't think she tried running away from motherhood, she doesn't seem the type. I honestly think she felt she needed to find their father before they hatched, and having searched the world she looked in the only place left, space.

When Isaac said Della thought Donald would take care of the boys maybe she originally meant Mr Duck but Donald was overprotective and jealous (that his sister doesn’t care about him more than Mr Duck) over a stranger taking care if the boys since he is quite overprotective over stuff. This is where the dark stuff kick in. Donald may have killed Mr Duck over his emotions, and when Della returned she ignored the fact that Mr Duck wasn’t there and that is why he was forgotten by many but not one person Donald Duck. I hope they make a spin off or at least a season 4 about Mr Duck’s disappearance. I know it has been 2 years when season 3 ended so they can’t possibly make another season but it would make a big surprise to us Duck Tale fans.
What if he tried to get help finding Della, but ended up getting into a danger too large for them to deal with and he disappeared to keep it away from his family.

I think their dad works was a very close friend of Donald’s and he turned his back on Della before the triplets were born and he now works for fowl

I think the answer is simpler than that.
There just is no dad. My theory is that Della wanted kids but didn't want to get married so she had kids via medical fertilization. Which makes her disappearance so much sadder, she genuinely wanted to raise her children but missed the first 10 years of their lives.

If the triplets father is indeed somehow connected to F.O.W.L. it could be possible he's also connected to Webby's parents given that in the episode Lost Harp of Mervana it was practically flat-out stated that Mrs.Beakly is hiding something from Webby and we know F.O.W.L. is the main threat this season so whatever she's hiding is going to have something to do with F.O.W.L. but the emphasis on Webby's desire to see the good in people heavily implies that Beakley isn't just concerned about her granddaughter's beliefs in merpeople. I find myself agreeing with the theory that it's possible one or both of Webby's parents have something to do with F.O.W.L. and that's why Mrs. Beakley is raising her at Scrooge McDuck's mansion. Ultimately it would make for an interesting plot to have a reveal that all three of these mysterious ducks are or were somehow tangled up in the dangerous web woven by F.O.W.L.
