    What is the other drums that are not the pates called. They look a little conga drums? Are they traditional as well?

      Yes as far as I am aware they are called pa'u (double headed skin bass-drum) and pa'u mangō (upright drum like a conga) (p.s. correct me if I am wrong anyone)

      @@LaviandOllie yep "pau" is the double sided bass drum and "pau-mango" is the bongo drum "mango" meaning shark......thousands of years ago our ancestors would search the oceans for sharks for food and use the skin for the bongo drum......now days its usually synthetic canvas or goat skin....
