- Gaming Pastime reviews Target: Terror for Wii.
Developed and published by Raw Thrills, Target: Terror was released as an arcade game in 2004 and it was ported to the Wii in 2008. Target: Terror is a cheesy and somewhat enjoyable rail shooter and the Wii port is definitely rough around the edges.

*The reason this feels a lot like Area 51 & Maximum Force is because some of the same staff worked on it.* Eugene Jarvis was a longtime programmer and game maker at Midway Games to include when they had purchased atari's Arcade division. When Midway closed down Eugene Jarvis founded Raw thrills in the same city with some of the same staff that manned Midway Games.
Everyone in the comments is going Time Crisis this Time Crisis that. Meanwhile I’m sitting here like have NONE of you ever played Area 51?! That’s EXACTLY what this look like.
Love both Area 51 and Time Crisis 3.
Area 51 I remember playing from a wedding venue a while back.
the doom pistol sound is pretty much straight from a sound effect library, they probably used the same one for this game
Reminds me of Area 51 on the PS1
Kinda reminds me of Time Crisis from when I was a kid I had the console version but loved going to the arcade and using the blue and red guns it made us kids feel badass we would talk about it for days and practiced so hard at home ready for the next time we went back again good times
Love digitized games. Urban lockdown on steam also has some on rails fps stages
This is a Maximum Force ripoff but that's not a bad thing. I really miss the arcades from my childhood. 🙁
Love the dancing captain popping out of nowhere.
Wow! That FMV intro 😂
Wish Raw Thrills would release all their racers on console
If this was released back in the 1990s for Nintendo 64 or PS1, who knows how it'd have done.
This game was always the light gun game to settle for when time crisis wasnt working. That helicopter gave me quarter PTSD
Aint the pistol sound effect the same of the magnum mega class pistol from Marathon II and Infinite?
The Best game ligth gun😍
u aint bs’n
I see you all mentioning *Area 51, Maximum Force and Time Crisis* and I wonder has anyone heard of *Lethal Enforcers?* the motion capture, the voice acting, everything reeks of Lethal Enforcers in this game.
Holy crap this is Area 51 and Max Force with more levels. Poor taste considering the timing, so why do I want it? Just ordered it on eBay, won’t break the bank and I order some light pistols for Wii since I still have one hanging around. I own a full size arcade cab of Max Force and converted it w flash drive to Area 51 and Max Force, cost me double what I paid for the cab to restore it and I’m completely bored already wondering why I bought this thing. But it’s the nicest 1997 cab around. The reason these are a bitch is because you are constantly re calibrating, and Area 51 has basically two levels and max force has 3 sort of multi levels with many more mini games. This is the same cab, same guns, same everything as A51/Max Force/Site 4. Atari made some good side art though and can get them back in good shape as long as they weren’t left out in front of a Walmart to drown in the rain. I’ve found a target terror at an auction and for the right price I might pick it up. The damn old screens suck so bad to work on or to find parts for. Anyway, long winded but even though I think this is total poor taste of a game, I’d play it on a drunk evening, haha
If u are going to review more light rail shooters. U know it's time for some Time Crisis :) i remember u review only the 4th game in the series.
I'm playing this on my stream today please pray for me
3:37 6:31 KICK!
It's a element of Maximum Force.
5:24 they scream like the first 2 mortal kombat games
"AIM FOR THE NUTS"
$80?! This was a bargain bin game when it was out.
This game is basically what the developers are thinking after playing mortal kombat.
"AIM FOR THE NUTS!"
reminds me of Area 51
awful game imo...one of raw thrills worst games. lethal enforcers 1 + 2 are better than this.
