I really love Black Phantom by Kilian and Velvet Rose and Oud by Jo Malone for fall/winter
For spring/summer I love Dia by Amouage and I think that Dark Lord by Kilian is also appropriate.
Last year or so, Dunhill Icon. Just wish it lasted a little longer on the skin.
My favorite fragrance is called Electric Wood by Room 1015. But, my favorite Tom Ford is Noir Extreme. It is also the only Tom Ford I own.
I can't even afford to look at that bottle, and you were casually tossing it from one hand to the other... this was a goal I didn't realise I had 😂

@@t1m67 use the fructus virginis dupe instead, its practically identical, and it lasts all day from experience

I purchased this, and I honeslty loved it in the cooler weather. For me it seemed to last a bit longer in the cooler weather! Warmer weather to very hot I hated it so I recommend this to more of a late fall to winter fragrance!
A red glass candle next to him to compliment the lost cherry bottle... Classy
This one is certainly worth it. It’s absolutely magnificent.

I don't like this trend in the fragrance industry to increase the price and decrease the longevity. It's very disheartening. Does Tom Ford really need a cash grab like this? He's gotta be a multi gazillionaire...
Decrease the longevity? Have you even tried this fragrance? I usually apply one spray and can smell it all day.
It's fairly anosmic after a few minutes... But longevity is great... Sticks on your clothes forever.

I just got a sample of it a few days ago. It doesn’t seem to be very strong in the projection department, the cherry smell also fades away pretty quickly and goes to a more tobacco type of a scent. Way overpriced. It’s okay, scent wise.

Beautiful smell. I just purchased both this and the Jasmin Rouge. They both smell incredible but the staying power is not there. Jasmin Rouge lasts a little bit longer but still not long enough for the price point. If I did not love the smell of Lost Cherry so much I would return the bottle back but I love it. I just keeping re-spraying it every 2 hours! At this rate, it'll be gone soon. They need to remake this same smell to last for at least 6 hours. Then it will be timeless.
Slight contradiction to my post earlier. On my second day of wearing Lost Cherry, I have changed my mind. I don't find it sickly anymore. It's a lovely warm fruity cherry on my skin and I now live it.
I got a sample of Lost Cherry and i was disappointed to say the least. I wanted to love this fragrance so bad but once I smelled it, I was underwhelmed. All I could think of was a cheap cherry car freshener . I don’t hate it but I also do not love it. Its a nice fragrance don’t get me wrong but nothing like how id think it would smell like. I prefer the dry down. I won’t be purchasing sadly. Way too much imo. Thanks for the review!! So happy your channel is getting more views as you simply deserve it!
I thought it was worth my cash. But then, I have bought every frag he's put out since he was first in the biz. I think Lost Cherry and Amber Absolute are smashing together. On the idea of cherry aromas, House of Silliage #1 does beat out Lost Cherry and Casamorati 1888.
I am obsessed with this perfume and I wish it had a better longevity. But I loooooove it so much. It speaks to my soul.

Great review Robin. I think you nailed it regarding the initial scent and then the warmer dry down. I love it and get lots of compliments. I could not afford it either. I went to Alexandria Fragrances which makes a dead bang ringer clone and it lasts longer for 80% less. Cheers!

It’s quite great, smoke cherry or whatever cherry. Makes you wonder why there arent more cherry colognes and which are longer lasting

Thank you for this incredibly honest review. I had been debating whether to just take the plunge or not and finally got around to going to Nordstrom to check out the scent, of course it was completely sold out and the semi-rude rep just said, "buy it, it's amazing, you don't need to smell it before!". WTH? If I'm spending $320, I'd like to have a whiff prior to investing so much money into it! I wear a range of perfumes from designer to high Street and I'm absolutely in love with Jo Malone's English Pear and Freesia.
Oh, i had my eye on jo malone's english pear and freesia but i don't blind buy anymore, as not everything is for everyone. I got my hands on a sample of english pear and freesia, it was gorgeous but it just didn't last on me, so i decided not to buy it. 20 mins max and that was it, it was gone. You definitely deserve to try it out before you buy any perfume, it's a lot of money and not everything is for everyone!

I actually really adore Lost cherry, I’ve only got around to wearing it once so far but I believe it to be one of the less challenging fragrances by Tom Ford.
To me it’s a fun casual nighttime fragrance.

Another awesome one Robin. My problem with Tom Ford fragrances is I find them extremely polarizing. One person will say you smell incredible and the next will run away from you. You need to review Creed Aventus

My aunt got me a travel size lost cherry and it smells absolutely amazing. The tobacco vanille smells amazing too.
I think Oud Wood is also really disappointing in terms of longevity. Goes away after a couple of hours only. Vanille Fatale, however, is beastmode at its best.

@@meshal7563 I love the intense one, but it's not the same scent :D I love hardcore Oud fragrances, but the good thing about the normal Tom Ford Oud Wood is that it's so light. The same DNA can be found in Fragrance du Bois' Oud Noir Intense, but this one's about double the price tag.. :/

@@ManForHimself Yes, I've tried a sample a few months ago. It's really entirely different from the non-intense version. More of an industrial, dark and heavy Oud fragrance. I like it, but haven't gotten around to buy a full bottle yet.
So glad you reviewed this! Like you I enjoy orientals.. I love Cherry but not a heavy on the overyly sickly honey as in Kilians Back to black. I want a cherry but this seems a little too light on sillage for the £. Thank you. Saved me wasting my time with getting samples to test. I like my perfumes to sit out further than a skin scent. 👍🏼😊

I Love this fragrance.. smells amazing but projection and sillage sucks
This smells really good but it doesn't last long at all. I was pretty disappointed after a hour. The smell was faint at that point. They need to make this one to last a lot longer.
As a chef I love the way he speaks about cologne/Eau De Parfum like a sommelier
One of my favourite scents I wasn’t a huge perfume wearer till I found this one - if I could find a similar that lasted longer at a price point I’d get it
I agree. I got a sample, and it lasts maybe 30 minutes. After that you can't smell it.

Hello, could you recommend a cherry based frag that has longer staying power. I've got a great shave soap/splash combo and I'd like to find a good frag match for it!
I don't get F Fabulous, it has this hint of body order that is just a turn off. I do like lost cherry and bought it though and thank you for mentioning tobacco notes in it. I thought the same thing!

I'm a big fan of Idôle by Lancôme, Miss Dior by Dior and Ari by Ariana Grande (I usually mix the three of em together)... I haven't tried Tom Ford fragrances, so which one do you recommend me to try?? Based on those 3 amazing perfumes.

Please tell me if the range of perfumes with great longevity. Particularly in south africa
well because it cost alot relatively speaking, get it and wear it if it's totally loved. I tried it, even though only smelled the top note or what not, it remind me of cough drop, also not really something consider all versatile. i double it will be a best seller for TF or lite up a fire for niche segment.

I’ve heard all sorts of good things about the aveda thickening tonic from you, and I recently found out that this brand also has two kinds of clays. In your opinion, are they good clays? If would be so helpful if you can make another honest review on the aveda clays.
I actually wanted to love tom ford fragrances, i sniffed all of them and i only like this one and mandarino di amalfi edp. It's still not worth the money though, i would only get it if i have % off, longevity should be beast mode taking in mind the prize. It's not more than 4 hours. 😒

You should do a q and a session! For example, why when I use a vented brush to quiff up my hair does it seem to go back, then quiff, as opposed to quiffing up? So annoying and I followed your guidance :(
