I've been binge watching your videos in no particular order, and they are so calming and encouraging to me. I'm recovering from carpal tunnel release surgery on my dominant hand, and since I can't do my usual calming activity of knitting, I decided I was going to learn to paint with my nondominant hand. I'm 47 and haven't painted since my high school art days. It's been so fun, so frustrating, and so rewarding all at the same time. Thank you for sharing your gifts and inspiring the people out in the ether! ❤️

Gorgeous painting… I’ve got no words.
I love your work and also love the way you capture the painting process. I especially like the camera angle on you while you’re creating. The way humans look in a flow states gives me a feeling of “yes! this is how we’re meant to be!” You’re a picture of peace and joy and purpose while you create.
I watch my bf create music sometimes and love his flow state facial expression as well. So genuine and beautiful to see.

Oh, Sophie! You are my beautiful girl. I’m getting misty thinking about the sparkles in your heart. I say my brain fizzes when I see beauty. It fizzes often. Your landscape is very beautiful. I💕love the bright colors. I really, really💕watching your eye-brain-heart-hand connections. You become one with the brush and the paint. Dab, dab, dab, squiggle, more dabs. Mesmerizing. I tried very hard to quiet my brain so I could just watch and absorb, but it just wouldn’t stop talking to you. Thinking of your heart sparkles and the pains in your hand and arm. This I know: 1) you must take good care of yourself 2) you must use multiple ways to ease pain (heat, massage, vibration, medication in moderation, rest, healthy exercise). I have chronic pain. I try to visualize it. I bombard it with every weapon I have. Yet, there’s always more I can do. We can never give in. You help me! You make me happy. Thank you! 💕

I am mesmerized by your process of painting. How do you choose the colors you blob on the background before you start? I’m always amazed how the end is different from where it began.
Thank youuu! 💖 I've experimented a lot with how different colours look as the underpainting, and for landscapes i like pinks, reds, oranges and purples best! Trial and error and play 💖
