There are different types of toilet paper you can use, not all fall apart easily.

That’s exactly what I was thinking - paper towel rolls, not toilet paper which is intentionally softer and less abrasive. Paper towels are intended for cleaning amongst other things, so they would be a much more practical and effective choice.

Paper towels would be a better choice. It's stronger and much larger. Otherwise, this seems like a smart idea. I would be cautious of which surfaces the surfaces you use this on.

What a waste. Cut a roll of paper towels in half and you’ll have 2 parts to use, then the paper won’t fall apart.
