    go to the gym and training daily helped me reduce a lot my gaming hunger. Now I feel like gym vibs is my adrenaline and dopamine trigger.
    Now I feel that training is my best thing to do after primary duties like studying or working. I have the feel of it is the time to let go video games because I feel that I'm not loving it anymore like before. I'm having other thing that making motivation happy and self proud before and after doing it.
    I recommend sport or gym lifestyle to start getting out from the gaming cave

    Great video. I am learning guitar to replace this adiction but is hard, i miss the competititveness, the challenge, a game put it so easily for you but in real life you have to create your own objectives, your own rewards, that is the hard part for me. Anyway really good content man. Thanks

      I never looked at games as a challange, i just looked at them as more of a fun past times.I like to chill while playing video games and i usually play games like Far Cry,Borderlands and recently No Man Sky.Of course,everybody has their own taste and i dont judge but i think you would find lot more challange outdoors than in games.Altough, like you said,in games its instant challange,which would lead to inpatiance and that is a reason to read a book.Reading a book could improve our patiance and also calm us down thus leading to smarter and happier human being.I hope that nowdays you are doing better than before,keep going.

    Thank you for your vision on the matter. I'm also quitting video games in general, and I've been freaking out over the amount of free time that I have. It's a really tough process because finding new things to spend your time in is a difficult thing at first

    Have been playing since 2018 . I was a nerd before that. My ex had introduced me to that moba game year. After the breakup I have been playing that very specific game aggressively since.
    It started as a stress buster now I am addicted. I am 24 now Game addiction took three years of my life. I really want to get over this addiction but I struggle with it even today. It has affected my career more specifically who I am as a person.
    Is there anyone else who went through similar experience?

    • @grsk100
      @grsk100 3 года назад +3

      Yeah i've been playing daily at least 4h since 2010, good for you that only wasted 3 years. Im trying to quit now (or reduce drastical the time) because it is more an addiction/escape from reality at this point than something i truly enjoy.

      Yes I’m 16 and have been playing video games since I was about 13 and there is not very many things I do other than that.

    • @laurent.schroeder
      @laurent.schroeder Год назад +1

      Yes, I quit with 36 years. Sold my computer and deleted all my accounts. The first week I felt dizzy and did not sleep well but from then on everything in life improved well. The urge to game goes away quickly and all other activities start to give more joy than before.
      Don't be afraid of missing something out when you quit gaming. Your brain will adapt fast and it doesn't take too much time to never look back to your old gaming habits.
      Allow yourself to watch a movie. Just because you quit gaming does not mean you have to constantly do tasks that completely improve your skills.
      Getting away from that fast dopamine is the first step that will boost your health and confidence.
