Ken, I know that most people will compliment the singer or the song but not enough people compliment the recording and engineering. I am a 52 year old, the louder the better, listener and your recordings are a joy to listen to. No brass on the highs and punchy but not pounding lows. You should be teaching courses on audio engineering as well as vocals.
It's insane to think that Seb wrote and recorded this in his 20's. Not only that, but managed to sing it the way he did and look the way he did, all while being fuelled almost entirely by alchohol and cocain.🤯 This was an incredible cover, I really enjoyed it. Gabbi is really good! She sounds like she could easily do some of those fry techniques that Seb did in this track with a bit of practice too!

Ms. Gun - Thought I'd make another comment. You do a wonderful example of contrasts. Soft sounding shifting to full blown sheer attitude and power when needed, but zero strain. That is the key though to power as when you step on the gas pedal your car doesn't fall apart, but instead sounds like a V8.

Holy God that woman can sing. I've watched this dozens of times and the hair on the back of my neck stands up every time. Baz originated this and full credit - but he could never sing this live very well and Gabbi sings this like she wrote it. The best amateur vocal performance I've seen on YT, right up there with Paul Potts doing Nessum Dorma. Stunning.
Fantastic job by Gabbi. Are her vocals done over the original music track or redone in-house? Music in this sounds cleaner / better to my ear than the original from the 90s. Musicians / engineer or whoever else was involved deserves some props as well.
