I like the way when the Snake was calling Alabama games he would say "line" in his heavy Alabama accent. Whether stating the location of the action or the position of linebacker, every time he said the word line it was a treat.
terry Bradshaw is now my favorite quarterback of all time, he called his own plays and won four super bowls in six years , my friend George loves the Steelers and my daughter graduated from university of Pitt with a degree in anthropology ,
I watched Terry & his state college play in Hammond, LA at my school, Southeastern Louisiana College. DAYYMMN! Beat us (as I recall) 50+ to 2. We got him in the end zone for a Safety! What a magnificent college QB! What a thrill to see him back then before he was widely known! It’s not always “bad” to be “old.” Bradshaw, Beatles, Elvis, but then there were girls’ dress codes! In college, we had to throw skirts on top of our slacks for the Southeastern Librarian to allow inside the ‘Berry. Bars were safe and the owners never let a guy get his girl bad drunk, or get out of line. Hick country town, Hammond, back then, but that’s not always bad. I learned Country Music because I was from suburbs of New Orleans. Sweet lovely Ms Loretta Lynn! And going to the drive-in movies en masse in pickups with pillows & blankets, for the Clint Eastwood all night marathon! Boys not allowed! Our revenge for their “Barbarella” day at the movies. God bless us; I wish it were that simple now! 😢. Thanks for hitting me 🎯right in my memory bank!
I used to Retrieve his Javelin, I also Graduated High School with Him in 25 May, 1966...!!! Terry, Tommy Spinks, & Joe Ferguson, what a Winning Team for The Woodlawn Knights, Against Byrd High 39-0...!!! I also watched him play in His First Super Bowl, in 1974, I was in Vietnam at the Time...!!! 🤔👍👊😎
Bradshaw plays the awh shucks dumb country boy to perfection. In reality he was a very smart and talented QB who won every Super-bowl he played in. Called his own plays his entire career and is now a great sports personality to boot. #Legendary
I have always loved and respected Terry Bradshaw for his candor, honesty and most of all his ability to not take himself too seriously and make fun of himself. He is on my bucket list of people I would love to just hang out with.
This is an always will be my favorite football player; tremendous talent; great leader; tough as nails and one cool sense of humor! Long live Terry 🏈🏈🏈🏈
This guy is a true sportsman. Also he’s the only football player that I regret ever played because I think the world missed out on a very funny comedian.
Which begs the question, before Phil left, who was scouting Terry on his javelin performance alone? Probably nobody, but maybe a low level guy trying something unconventional? (In the vein of when, sucking SO BAD, the Eagles [ Dick Vermeil - Patron Saint of the "average Joe" football player) held the only OPEN TRYOUT by an NFL Franchise in the Super Bowl Era.
Phil said football players didn't make big money when he left college, why would you rattle your brains for peanuts, he did okay for himself, so did Brad
I was so lucky to live in Pittsburgh/Latrobe when Terry was king. Pittsburghs been blessed with amazing athletes in my lifetime, Clemente, Greene, Bradshaw, 16 other nfl hof’rs, Lemieux, Jagr, Crosby, Arnold Palmer, Stargell, Parker, Ben, Brown, and now possibly a new kid Skenes.
I'm an Australian and didn't know who he was when I saw him on a game show with his family. He seemed very puffed up with himself and l thought it was just because he has a great family. Now l get it. If someone can back it up then absolutely puff your chest out and l'll applaud 👏👏👏👍Good job.🦘
Staubach, Bradshaw, Tarkington...These quarterbacks were great athletes and leaders. They were men who could be respected on and off the field. No disrespect to Tom Brady or any of the other QB's today but they are not even in the same class.
That's interesting? Really are athletics professionals paid more there relatively??? Ahh throwing an American football wouldn't be paid much in Finland 😂🏈 I see what you did 😂@@pale_saint
I was 11, in 1978, and 12, in 1979, when the Pittsburgh Steelers won back-to-back SuperBowls. It was truly, a sight to behold, watching Terry Bradshaw lead the Steelers through those two games. As a kid...it was amazing to watch, even though I was a Houston Oilers fan, I couldn't help but be in awe of Bradshaw.
Yea I was 13 and 14 those two years, that really was something to watch especially living in southwestern Pennsylvania, that's when all the coal mines and steel mills were closing with everyone losing their jobs and the Steelers were the only thing to feel good about.
He was an excellent athlete more than he got credit for...nowadays, he was doing that he would be a God because of the attention that all sports get today. 😊
He also has all of his Superbowl rings at Louisiana Tech on display. Thats awsome about him doing that. Showing players. Even tho your in this small school. You can still get drafted and win Superbowls
I remember when one of his cohosts told him he didn’t know that much about football ( or something like that ) and Terry responded “ I have four rings ,how many do you have “. Priceless
TB was a heck of a QB although he has admitted he didn’t like playing for Pittsburgh’s coach Chuck Knowles. When he left Pittsburgh he left on bad terms. I grew up as a Cowboys fan but have always loved watching TB play for Pittsburgh. I’ve always loved watching him in movies too because what ever he’s doing always made me laugh. He’s hilarious!!!!
Terry threw the football like he threw the javelin.
Even as a Cowboys Fan during that era, I ROOTED for Stallworth to catch a Deep Ball from Bradshaw every time they played in a big game.
Into a cornerback's hands?
Or Lynn Swan@@Texas75023
What you mean, like a spiral?
He actually does! His throwing motion is straight over the top with a high shoulder release
It ain't bragging if you do it.
I bet he broke many a finger in the NFL! And the Immaculate Reception was one of my favorite plays of all times!
Especially a one shot piss missile that no one can touch? 😳
Just stating facts
I truly love this man. I would give anything to eat steaks and drink with him.
Nothing wrong with bragging if you back it up.
TB was an absolute bad ass back in the day! As a Cowboys fan….I hated him while he played. Since retirement….nothing but love for the man! ❤
I love Terry Bradshaw. He has the best stories
FREAKING awesome story! Thank You TERRY BRADSHAW!!!
I have always had such abiding love and respect for Terry. Such a warm and nice man. Thx for the video short!
Being the best at anything matters, and you will never forget that moment in the sun.
Terry seems like a fun man to hang out with.
He was Brett Favre before Brett Favre. Terry and Ken Stabler are the most fun to hear stories from.
Stabler was a riot. I read his book, Snake. He is one of my Honky Tonk hero.
Snake would come to denver I met him at a party with a few other raiders get hi do some lines then go out next day and beat the broncos
I like the way when the Snake was calling Alabama games he would say "line" in his heavy Alabama accent. Whether stating the location of the action or the position of linebacker, every time he said the word line it was a treat.
Southern boys😊😊😊
Nobody except Favre is Favre. I watched him flat footed throw from the end zone into the opposing end zone like he was playing catch with his dad.
terry Bradshaw is now my favorite quarterback of all time, he called his own plays and won four super bowls in six years , my friend George loves the Steelers and my daughter graduated from university of Pitt with a degree in anthropology ,
Terry Bradshaw is Legend ❤
Great job MrT we here in Columbia SC like tht about hard wrkn people great Steelers fans since 1995

Terry's a champion at heart ❤❤HIM 🌬✌️💪♥️🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
Amen 👍💯
I don’t like the Steelers, but who doesn’t love Terry!!!
I loved him on Family Feud Omg I was rolling
A living legend. I still remember the Lynn swan catch
He was fortunate to have Swann and Stallworth not to mention a veritable team of all-pro superstars!
I’m so glad he was a Pittsburgh Steeler.
Bengals fan here. I hated Terry’s guts. Love him now. Thought he was a robot. Nobody threw the football like Bradshaw!,,
And that’s why Bradshaw has a canon for arm for QB 🏈
I used to Retrieve his Javelin, I also Graduated High School with Him in 25 May, 1966...!!! @user-sf3ih2ns2d I hear the duck dynasty guy went there as well
*cannon
@@ninetyninerising9482ya Bradshaw was his backup at one point.
"I warm up at 210” sounded so badass😎
I could listen to his stories for days. Love it
That's incredible, Terry had so much natural talent.... what an arm !
The key statement:
And it STILL STANDS!
Bradshaw plays the awh shucks dumb country boy to perfection. In reality he was a very smart and talented QB who won every Super-bowl he played in. Called his own plays his entire career and is now a great sports personality to boot. #Legendary
Good for him, terry your a great guy
Gotta LOVE Terry Bradshaw!!
I have always loved and respected Terry Bradshaw for his candor, honesty and most of all his ability to not take himself too seriously and make fun of himself. He is on my bucket list of people I would love to just hang out with.
That's how you do it, Legend!
What a humble man.
Awesome. Never knew this. These old school guys have endless stories.
Bradshaw has always been proof that mechanics are EVERYTHING when it comes to throwing ANYTHING ❤
This is an always will be my favorite football player; tremendous talent; great leader; tough as nails and one cool sense of humor! Long live Terry 🏈🏈🏈🏈
LOVE TERRY BRADSHAW! ❤
That's what a pure athlete is. Good/superior in sports
It’s never bragging if you can back it up. Nice work Terry!
❤TB..one of my childhood heroes
This guy is a true sportsman. Also he’s the only football player that I regret ever played because I think the world missed out on a very funny comedian.
Mr. Bradshaw you are one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time
Legendary quarterback 💥
And he was a backup in college to the Duck Dynasty Phil.
Phil got disqualified he speared a duck on his throw.

😮 ❤it
Phil said football players didn't make big money when he left college, why would you rattle your brains for peanuts, he did okay for himself, so did Brad
He wasn't a backup very long was he. Phil got pissed and went duck hunting after Terry took over.
Bradshaw is the real G O A T
TB is a genuine treasure.
Yes he is
I was so lucky to live in Pittsburgh/Latrobe when Terry was king.
I’m proud of him being proud of himself 😊
Bradshaw is a hoot.... Love that guy
thanks for the memories!
Terry bradshaw is still to this day one of my favorite people to work with. It's been over 10 years, he was a great boss.
Clean toilets for Him
Terry always seems like a jolly, humble man who wants to smile. More people in sports and media could have his demeanor.
The USA Loves you and thanks you , Terry❤❤❤
Congratulations Terry. Use to love to watch you play football
Terry was the choosen 1 back 8n the 70's & 80's
Thanks for gracing us with your presence in pittsburgh in the 70s Terry. You’re the best!

As quarterback, he led the Pittsburgh Steelers to four Super Bowl championships.
Terry has the arm and a great personality. I'm not to much into pregame talk but when him and his crew are on their entertaining
The true Goat ❤❤❤
That is amazing Mr Bradshaw wow really amazing
He was also great in "Failure to Launch"
Thanks again Terry!!
Staubach, Bradshaw, Tarkington...These quarterbacks were great athletes and leaders. They were men who could be respected on and off the field. No disrespect to Tom Brady or any of the other QB's today but they are not even in the same class.
Called their own plays...like Gabriel
The NFL softened the rules for the modern Quarterback , Brady wouldn’t have played 3 seasons under the old league rules
Unfortunately the javelin throw can’t earn anyone any money but football can!
Bruce Jenner got rich throwing the javelin and other Olympic sports
Then he bought some tits & a dress! 😂
In Finland it’s the other way round
That's interesting? Really are athletics professionals paid more there relatively??? Ahh throwing an American football wouldn't be paid much in Finland 😂🏈 I see what you did 😂@@pale_saint
I did not realize he was a track athlete as well. What a great athlete he was. He is a very funny and very genuine guy too
He also makes a damn fine whiskey. He left several cases of it at the golf course I worked at last summer. Great guy wish there were more like him
He was even a country singer. If you like humor.
His brother Craig sang in our church choir and quartet. Beautiful voice.
He was a good singer.
Terry Bradshaw will always be one of the greatest athlete of all time.👍💪🫶
I love Terry Bradshaw
Wow! Record to this day. Great athlete.
I love this guy.
I love Terry Bradshaw! He has such a wonderful sense of humor! I am so glad he showed them!❤
Terry has been my favorite QB for decades. Remembering the shoot off between him and Cowboys Roger Staubach - great football
A Champ Is Always A Champ 🏆.
Good old Louisiana State man!
Louisiana Tech man.
He is certainly a man from the State of Louisiana, he did NOT however attend Louisiana State.
He went to Louisiana Tech.
I was 11, in 1978, and 12, in 1979, when the Pittsburgh Steelers won back-to-back SuperBowls. It was truly, a sight to behold, watching Terry Bradshaw lead the Steelers through those two games. Terry Bradshaw is the most lovable football player ever.
Never knew. What a legend.
GOOOO STILLERS ! ! ! ! Pride of 'The BURG'.
The Man, The Athlete, The Legend
Love you Terry. You and QBs from your era are the best.
He’s one of my favorite people!❤❤❤
A.L. is the BEST! I went to Woodlawn High School and am honored to know Coach Williams. Terry was before my time.
Bradshaw is a National Treasure
Terry is a blast. Best personality ever... and he excelled in football, javelin, acting... well lived life in action
Terry Bradshaw is the beast QB and team leader of all time.
One hell of an athlete❤
I remember when one of his cohosts told him he didn’t know that much about football ( or something like that ) and Terry responded “ I have four rings ,how many do you have “. Priceless
Javelin was my favorite
TERRY BRADSHAW YOU ARE AWESOME SIR.🏈HOF
He’s a champion and funny too!!
It's sad that he isn't more respected for on-field greatness. Best QB in the playoffs EVER. Everyone called him stupid and didn't believe him.
Truly a great American!!
That is a fantastic story! Just yesterday saw a vid about Baseball's Yoshinobu Yamamoto's training w javelin to reserve his elbow.
Bradshaw always had a strong arm God knows he could throw the BOMB!
Proud of that Knight from Woodlawn High School.
Along with Parish and Ferguson.
But….. Southwood will always rule! :)
U the man Terry 😮❤
A.L.Williams..great sound...
Now that's old school badass😂
