I'm also facing the touchscreen issue with my 2.8 years old sonet htk+. Service center is asking me to replace the entire system and no other repair option. The worst thing is that infotainment system has only 2 years warranty and if I want to replace, the new system costs around 30k/-. This is clearly Kia's bad engineering as I saw so many similar cases. Definitely this should be filed in consumer court.

As I had contacted kia India they told me We haven't received such a complaint regarding Infotainment which delivered during end of 2020 and start of 2021 So guys please call kia costmer care and tell them so many people facing this issue and they must call such vehicles as other manufacturers do Tell them it's Manufacturers issue

If this is a perticular production batch problem then Kia mist accept and respve by calliig us. Like maruti did for Baleno. There was a manufacturing fault ans Maruti Suzuki resolved it by calling from their end only. Else no body could have ever know.

After lot of discussions, service centre is replacing the system with 50% discount, it’s coming to 15k. However, the warranty on the new system is only 6 months. Who knows if the same issue is repeated after 6 months. This is a serious issue with Kia.

I have the same issue after two years and I wrote a mail to Kia care they replied about it. If you don’t get answer go with consumer court it’s completely Kia’s fault

Irrespective of warranty they must recall the cars to fix it like Maruti, Mahindra earlier did for some or other reason. KIA must not step behind to hide from the engineering failure. #KIAmotors #KIA

Saturday travelling about 4 hours duration.. Will keep you posted. So ask your dealer to update the software..
I tried my best to replace it. contacted my nearest showroom but they say the same thing again n again... warrenty for infotainment system is only for 2 years..for new system it will cost u 30-40 k .. instead my service advisor told to swap it with an refurbished system..they will first remove ur cars data and send it to Chennai. ( manufacturing and service of kia and Hyundai infotainment system is done thr..) Then after 1 month they will send u refurbished system of another car.. which will have warrenty of only 6 monts..( by the way they will take ur cars system). They charged me around 16-17 k .its been around 3 months its working fine for me.. and ig problem is only in htx models. hope it helps
