- A good stir fry is an absolute gem of a recipe to have in your kitchen. They are versatile, easy and also cheap. So I came up with this simple pork belly stir fry that you can easily make at home for the family, and the best bit is it doesn't contain 100 ingredients! It comes together really quick, and the pork belly gives the stir fry a satisfying chew. If you are not into pork, you can use chicken or beef.

To make my no fuss crispy pork belly stir fry you will need:
►450g of thinly sliced pork belly
►1 small red pepper
►1 small green pepper
►1 medium onion
►3 cloves of garlic
►1 large thumb sized piece of ginger
►1 tsp of white pepper
►1/4 tsp of MSG (optional)
►2 tbsp of dark soy sauce
►A little water (about 50m)

What's your favourite stir fry?
Favourite? Well let me see...
Satay Pork, Thai Beef, Sweet and Sourr Chicken, Szechuan Beef are some of my favorites..
Pad Krapow, hands down... any protein works but chicken is my favorite 😍 😊 but tofu is also incredible 😊😊😊
Asparagus and snow pea pods play nice with a good stirfry technique, and strangely, so do lupini beans.
Generally I stick to marinated chicken thighs with some asparagus or pea pods, but lupini beans play real nice
Pork chow mein or Shrimp fried rice. This would be a nice shortcut to make my chow mein my way. I never thought about using pork belly but I think I'll try it with that. Looks amazing, Adam.
Pork belly and rashers are not a cheap cut in Australia.
They are trendy priced from AUD $15 to $19 a kilo depending on the score and who's selling it.
It's cheaper to buy a roast for around $8kg and cut it down into pieces and boil them until tender before adding to a stirfry.
I prefer a rustic chop to thin slices. Leave that to the Iron Chefs.
Lovely PBSF today Adam.
Mogs probably likes listening to his own Purrrrrig. That's why he chose the shoebox. It would make a nice resonance!
Cheers Adam 👍🤤😀
He's still loving the shoebox 🤣
Looks great!!
Fabulous Adam, nice and easy, my kinda meal. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you 😊
First to view and comment yet again!! Well done with how the channel is going.x
Thank you lovely x
Thank you Adam and Mogz!
You're welcome 😁
Pork meat is so underrated! Great little recipe, Adam. Thank you
Absolutely. I remember when me and dad bought half a pig from the local farmer. It was sensational and the best crackling I've ever had.
Great recipe for a cheaper cut of pork, Thanks for sharing, it looked delicious. Love to mogs x
Thank you Jane x
Looks delicious, thanks for the inspiration. Lovely Mr Moggs 😻
Thank you
This technique is absolutely perfect for home cooking. Stir fry in stages to make sure everything browns. 💯😋
Nice and easy. You could velvet the pork and add marinades to it as well, but this is an easier stripped down version
I am with you about preparing the ingredients beforehand.
I am not that slow, but swear that I would take longer than the 15 or 30 minutes on preparation alone that some recipes claim to be the total time required!
After all, a home kitchen should be as relaxing as possible where every meal can be prepared with the love it deserves.
Tip for parents - get the young ones in the kitchen!
I would suggest that first of all, they can be that extra hand we regularly wish that we had.
Move onto stirring, an underrated but essential skill in my eyes, as well as a perfect example of a third hand.
I would go to preparation next, weighing, washing, chopping etc. before moving onto the actual cooking.
Not only will they learn a valuable life skill without realising it, they will learn how a sensible division of labour makes life so much easier.
I got my ex partners kids involved in the kitchen with me as much as I could. They loved it. It also gets them used to trying new things if they've made it, they are more likely to try it.
Nice cook. Simple recipe.
Thank you
You could probably do the skin in the oven and serve it it as a topping
I actually made cracklings the next day and ate the entire thing 🤣
That really looked amazing. Thank you Adam.
No worries Fay, have a fan Sunday evening
Looks amazing mate, I like the look of this 👍
Thank you! Cheers!
Adam... always a Man with the Plan. TFS... Cheerio
Cheers fella
Hello from oceanside california 😀
Hello there! Hope everything is ok over the pond
@@Adam_Garratt just high prices
I have to try this, it's got all the things I like in it!
Enjoy!
Well done mate this looks good I’ll be making this at some point
Another great recipe, Adam, as usual
Thanks again!
Love a pork stir fry. I do one similar but along with dark soy i use kecap manis, honey and lime juice as well, absolutely salivating thinking about it 😂
Ooof that sounds hot!
This looks delicious young man..I have just subscribed to you.
From this little old lady of 74 years old.
Thank you, and also welcome to the family 😊
Looks so good! And just wanna say thank you for sharing the "no waste" message. You have no idea how much it irks me seeing other cooking channels throw away things like the fat or the bone when one can easily make cracklings or broth out of it! ❤
I can't stand unwarranted waste. I know people that throw food away purely based on best before dates. Completely wasteful
Ooh, looks good Adam !
Thanks Marie x
Another great video Adam. Your production seems very professional, wonderful pictures, music touches etc. And the stir fry looked delicious. Thanks so much, I'll be trying this one soon. Blessings from Canada!
Thank you very much. I put a lot of work into the videos because I want you guys to have good content to watch. Fun fact though, I hate editing, it's my least favourite part of RUclips 🤣
Its obvious that you, and thank you for it! I have heard that the editing sucks and takes forever.@@Adam_Garratt
@@NormaDelRizzo 4-6 hours for a 8-10 min video 😅
Thats dedication!@@Adam_Garratt
Very nice. Thanks Adam. Aussie Bob 😊
Cheers Bob
Nothing like lounge music on the B-roll to open the appetit😀
Great recipe mate 💕💕
Too right mate
When are you inviting me over for dinner?
You're a bit far but always welcome 🤣
Looks amazing 🎉🎉🎉
Thank you!!
Another yummy dish Adam ❤
Thank you lovely x
Thank you for the video and recipe! This looks really good and delicious! I like how you show what to do in the prepping and cooking process. I've added this one to my list of recipes to try as I've never cooked pork belly. Mr. Mogs was purring so he must be a happy boy. My favorite stir-fry is the Orange Park Mall's food court Sarku Japan "teriyaki chicken with cabbage, onions and carrots." I don't know why, but on the rare occasions I go to the mall, I have to get this meal. Thank you again! Have a great week! 😊💖🙏
Thank you Lisa. Yeah he's always purring away haha
Hi Adam that was a great recipe. I think I might be able to help improve it. if you boil the belly pork for about 45 minutes in water with a (veg/chicken) stock cube a few spring onions and a chunk of ginger. Then let it cool and then slice it up and fry it as you have done the fat in the pork renders out more and it is not chewy at all.
Good idea!
Great recipe Adam. Many years ago i tried your roast pork belly recipe for the first time having had numerous failures (the one with the trivet of veg, cider). I'm cooking it still. I'm fact I have it prepared and we're having it when my wife finishes her shift. So thank you for all your efforts. Great channel. I'm guessing the left overs can be used in this great recipe?
Another great dish 😋 😊😊😊 flavorful and easy to follow 😋 😊😊 thank you for sharing 😋 😊😊😊
❤Annie
Thanks Annie
Did a veg stir-fry last night in the new wok... Was wonderfull. The rice noodles were like an advanced degree in adhesive studies. Would love to see you do rice noodles! Great recipe 👍.
I'm not massively keen on rice noodles. Although I do love them in a pho though
Nice one Adam
Thanks pal
Looks really nice Adam. This one is on my to go list but not with pork belly it’s too expensive in Australia, well everything is over here. I love pork stir fry.
Pork chops, chicken, beef would also work fine 😁
Looks yummy but for some reason my butchers had no pork for a while ❤
I got mine from Sainsbury's if that helps
@@Adam_Garratt we don’t have one here it’s a small town and Tesco heron and home to bargains is all apart from 39 take away shops
Thanks.
You're welcome
Uncle Roger's favourite brand of MSG...well and mine 😋
Haven't messaged for a while sorry having a bit of a bad time but your meals help more than you know Adam ♥️♥️
Oh no, I hope you're ok Tracy! X
Delicious as always. It just needed more garlic 🧄
Can never have enough garlic. Where would we be without onions and garlic!?
@@Adam_Garratt the world would be a drearier place....or without your cooking videos :)
Marinate the pork in baking soda, cornstarch & white wine vinegar, that will make the pork super tender.
Can you still get msg?? Its sort of frowned upon using in New Zealand, not sure why it's just a flavour enhancer apparently, correct me if im wrong, Love your Channel and Reclpes keep it up Cheers 😊😊
I'm going to make a video on this topic at some point but basically the historical hatred towards MSG stems from racism and ignorance. MSG is absolutely fine and is found naturally in a lot of foods such as tomatoes, parmesan, celery and mushrooms. It's good stuff 😉
Where did you buy the msg
I bought mine from a local Asian supermarket. Amazon sell it also
Nice video of the day.❤🎉. 0:15 .❤🎉. 0:18 .❤🎉. 0:21 .❤🎉. 0:25 .❤🎉.
I feel bad. Two days late to reply. Easy tasty food.
School boy error Adam should have finished that dish with shaoshing rice wine instead of water my friend. Must be the early rising hahahaha. Good recipe though 🎉🎉🎉
Agreed, but with these recipes I'm trying to keep the cost down for people
I think pork belly is expensive in the US as it’s trendy, however I can’t stand that sort of fatty meat, never liked it,even as a kid I would remove every tiny bit of fat,but this stir fry looks good,I would use thinly sliced center cut pork chop, which are cheap here.
Pork chops, chicken or beef would work just as well 😊
9.30 really early !? You’ve just insulted every parent on the planet, can’t even watch the rest.
🤣🤣🤣 Mr no kids here
@@Adam_Garratt I couldn’t tell, your time will come 😂😂
