Walsall fan here. You are a good side in fact, I felt your player who was sent off was not missed until towards the end of the game. The difference between the two sides was how clinical you were in finishing. Both really good goals. I thought you lost your way when you tried to be overly physical, you didn’t need to do that, you pass the ball well, make intelligent runs but perhaps legs were getting tired. I wish you all the best for this season, you are a good team.

Same old attitude that got us demoted from championship. Settling for a 2-0 win, losing concentration and not caring and suddenly it's 3-2. No-one cares if we win or lose Carabao cup games, but if the performance is poor (like it was against Shrewsbury too) thats when people care, even if we win

If you think we're a joke now, you obviously weren't around in 1976 when we were in the old division 4. We lost 2.0 at Northampton and dropped into the relegation zone. If we'd have been there at the end of the season we could have been voted out of the league. We were piss wet through, but still sang all night.

Disappointing performance tonight and I think he should acknowledge that. It's been a great start but the passing was woeful for much of the game.
I know we were down to 10 men and no one cares about that cup,but our game management from 2.0 up was poor.
You're almost always fucked if you get someone sent off that early. Not a big deal, season has been great otherwise.

It wasn’t early on, it was 42 minutes. Surely 2 up against league 2 opposition we should be able to hold out.
