Btw. Thank you for this video! All the research I have done in the last 5yrs has told me to just try and use the abnormal embryos. The test isn’t always accurate! I had three embryos thrown away after the test at age 40. That’s all my savings to do this test that now is questionable.
Omg. I had one it finally made it to full blast but it was deemed abnormal. I told them to save it. They asked why, cuz I don’t think they wanted to transfer it. And told me I wouldn’t want to. I told them just save it please. I actually forgot I did. I just saw in my portal it was saved. That was my second cycle. I’m in the middle of my fourth cycle. I will definitely be looking into this. There’s so much going on. I forgot that they did actually save it. I did fight to save it. They initially said it’s what u signed off on in the paperwork. I said but I will ups like to save it if you can. And they did. I have been so upset that it worked so hard to get to blast and didn’t think about anything other their opinion , I didn’t think about a miracle. I didn’t think about Gods work. And something somehow brought me to this page. Ok. I will see about making this my next step. At least give the little one another chance.
Hi Dr Gleicher, thank you for this information. I’d love to hear you talk about a) which chromosomally abnormal embryos you do NOT recommend transferring also, b) the types of tests available to check for birth defects and how effective those tests are once embryos are transferred. My partner is understandably worried about the consequences of implanting an an embryo that has been deemed unworthy of implantation. Our trisomy and monosome were both rated as FAIR.
At 42 I had 17 eggs taken. 7 fertilized and 3 made it to 5 day blasts. All three tested chromosomally abnormal. They are now frozen and I am desperate and 46. Live in Chicago area can you recommend a place that would transfer. I already called and talked to your secretary and you guys don’t take my insurance! I have no children and really I am at the end of my rope!

I froze my eggs about 5 years ago. Had total of 16 mature eggs harvested. Is it possible this is enough for 2 babies ? And can I have 2 transferred so I can have twins? I'm 42 now so it's best for me to have twins. But not many clinics allow this. Can you help or guide me to clinics that do?
Your eggs might not have been frozen properly. I had 28 and none of them turned into embryos because of the freezing process they used. Don't wait, get in there to get a fresh egg cycle now.

Dr Glicer -what about in donor eggs?I have had 2 miscarriages with donor eggs ( 1 tested as triploidy post mis carriage) - would you recommend pgt in the next donor cycle or does it have too many cons?
Hi Janhvi, Thank you for asking the question that's on many patients' minds! We don't recommend PGT-A for most patients, and that's also true with patients using donor eggs. The biological ability of the embryos to correct chromosomal abnormalities themselves is the major reason, but we are also concerned that this unreliable test is pushed on many patients for economic gain. The risk of using that abnormal embryo is very scary.
Hi Dr. Glicer thank you for your insight !
What is the cost for the online consultation please?
How do you stop them from discarding your “abnormals”?
Thank you!

Nothing in the video says why you should do what he suggests.
which chromosome abnormalities can still become healthy babies? Is it limited to just one abnormal chromosome per embryo?
Oh dear, I wanted to do PGS but don't agree with my embryos being disgarded... I can't do it then...
Doctor what about mosiac , would you go ahead and transfer. I was told 35 percent miscarriage risk .
