- Dunbar Harbour, Storm Bound.
This Video, wasn't actually planned (Excuse the dodgy footage, it was all done by my phone, lol.), it was all down to fortunate circumstance, the right place, at the ,right time!
This day of filming, is when a Northerly swell was met by strong Norwest winds, and this 8 minute video, is the out come of a mornings filming.
And of course, it wouldn't be much of a One man and his boat video, if it did'nt have fishing boats in it.
So you get to see the Dunbar fishing fleet, sheltering from the storm.
We hope you enjoy this vlog, and appreciate the Power and the unpredictability of the sea.

Great footage Bazza, I googlied Dunbar, pretty amazing history... Must have been hard work back in the 1700s building a Harbour by hand...

Nevermind the harbour, the castle must have been some sight back in the day, one of the biggest in Scotland at the time....but unfortunately, it taken down by the spineless Government, and the stack is all we have left.😔

Wonderful video, brought back so many memories. As a youngster in the 50's l spent every holiday in Dunbar at my Grandparents. New houses at the old harbour were not built then but l have seen them with recent visits. One year l got there and there had been a storm. Rocks well over ton had been thrown over the high harbour wall!!

Yes, Dunbar has changed a lot these last decades, hardly recognisable if it wasn't for the harbours and the main street.😍😁👌
I could actually believe about the ton boulders getting thrown over the wall...I was always taught, everything works in cycles.....and I think these last few years have been great, but things are changing. 😳😉👍

At 4:04 there is what looks like a 28 foot Cygnus which looks a bit like one that used to be down here and the Halmatic Homaris? is up for sale on FAFB I think
