May I wish you a very belated welcome to England. FYI, I know it looks like you say Salis-bury but it's pronounced S-all-sbury. Yes I know it's weird but no-one ever said English makes sense, did they? I have subscribed to watch your adventures as you encounter even more strange and baffling things in and around our damp little island. Best wishes......................................................the ancient Englishman.
Yes I was going to correct the pronunciation myself...t'was a bit awkward to hear it pronounced incorrectly but it's understandable as she's not native. All and all a good video, though!
We call Salisbury Strawberry. Saul's Brie is as close as I can get to phonetic representation. The city is similar to Swindon, but a little posher centrally. This is funny, because we lived in Salisbury for 4 years, and the lady who made the video looks very like my girlfriend when I lived there. Did a double-take at 2:56! Love the expression "tree-tunnel". Winchester is very similar to Salisbury, but the two cathedrals look very different.
Eu moro em Salisbury. Um lugar muito bonito, cheio de história e muito tranquilo. Assombrado também, mas melhor assombrado que violento quando vivia no RJ. Tudo com muito boa energia.
also Salisbury is a city

If staying in Salisbury town can you walk to Stonehenge or is it too far ? Thanks
It would be a very long walk for most people, getting a bus from Salisbury would be best
It's around 13 miles (20km) along those narrow tree tunnel roads with no footpath with cars whizzing past at 100kph.
I'd recommend getting the x4 from the market square
@@Not-Too-Sure- cheers ! I drove in the end... Salisbury is 👌
