Hi..yes..we have had golden trevers since the seventies we had some in the u.k. and in twenty eleven we moved here to Australia ..thirteen years this very weekend? we brought Ellie our golden girl with us..she was flown from London to Sydney....while in quarantine we had a phone call to say she was a bit off here food ....after a few more days we were able to have her back ..we had to fly her up to Brisbane and take her to the farm where we were staying for a while she seemed o.k. and we took her for long walks....we found our home which we did build and after a few months Ellie seemed to go off her food..we took her to the vet he said there dose not look to be anything wrong with her...but if you would like i can do a over night blood test we said yes go for it...the very next morning we had a early phone call...the vet told us she has a seventy five percent kidney failure ..we lost her some weeks later....i can tell all I'm doing this with tears we loved that dog she was everything fantastic we have her here we built a big flower border around her.. i still miss her loads....we had another puppy golden called Tamworth we lost her a year ago with a bad heart..we now have another he is a boy called farmer he is a real big boy an white we love him but he's young and mad as march hare...we love this breed they always are very easy to get house clean.this boy only made one little puddle in house..if anyone wants a dog go get a Goldie if you have young kids the best thing you can do..DAVID....
