@Oathkeeper1992 Lalo wrote 4 violin concerto's. Symf. Esp. is well known. The other 3 are: Norwegian fantasy, vc op.20 and (violin)concerto Russe op.29. Last 3 now on this channel Symf.Esp. soon. Max Bruch wrote also 4 violin concerto's 1 is well known, but 2 and 3 not, just like his Scotish Fantasy. Now you can compare them and explain why 1th Bruch and Symf. Esp. are so populair and the others not. Perhaps the unknown vc's are better, but they lack playing tradition, because no iron repertoire

@Oathkeeper1992 no he indeed wrote this concerto, it's not really well known or played that often, it's quite beautiful

I'm playing this concert for my final exam and I'm so disappointed every recording on RUclips makes that cut in the first movement! I also like that part very much but I can't hear it anywhere.

This concerto is less known than Vieuxtemps' ones... It is nevertheless probably better.
