Seems like a lot of Code Orange fans forgot or don’t remember their side projects Adventures and Lilith. They’ve been doing folk and indie emo shit forever.
Love adventures and somehow thought of that project when I heard this also!
Reba went to Temple U. for classical flute as well. The melodic side of the band and their sideprojects has been primarily attributed to her.

Her voice is so peculiar. I love it.
I wouldn't call it peculiar but it is awesome! Reba used to sing higher in early Code Orange and their sideprojects but I think singing low is more natural for her and she has good control of it in the lower registers.
I love the homage to Alice In Chains with this whole atmospheric set. Unintentional or not, it’s still great! But to hear the song In Acoustic , I actually like it a lot more than the original. And they’re both good

@@miserirken They do realize that there were critics of Layne Staley? I mean his voice isn't, "conventionally" great to a lot of vocal coaches or teachers, but it was great nonetheless. Same deal with these guys, they killed it.

Yeah is the first CO song I ever heard. The studio version struck me as a classic AIC song with a more modern, heavy guitar sound and a female singer.

Stunning. There was an old video of Incubus and Deftones doing an acoustic collab of Be Quiet And Drive and this brought that memory back to me.
Phenomenal work everyone! It’s crazy to believe how much you guys have evolved over a relatively short time.

I saw this band 5 years ago open up for the Deftones. They have changed some since then but ? Reba's thrash guitar playing style makes a difference in this style of metal. Her signature guitar is sick. I have a black 6 string too. Lol.

@@ALK-le6pv This cover does for sure, I mean they played Down in a Hole for a cover during this stream...but overall? Their music definitely is more NIN or Skinny Puppy inspired with some AIC and Garbage grunge influence with the softer tracks.
@@thc_freebaser Well all versions of Bleeding are more AIC influenced than NIN probably Reba mainly wrote it. Reba talks about AIC a lot, much like Shade/Jami talk a lot about NIN, so I would say the influence largely depends on who is writing which track.
So true. Back in the day, slipknot was criticized by the gatekeepers. Now they're a classic act in the eyes of the metal community
