Do you know if Oklahoma City activates their sirens with a software, or encoder?

I know for sure that they used to use a Whelen encoder before the software upgrade. Pretty sure now it’s some sort of computer software, but I can’t be too sure.

@ sorry, two more questions, what year was the software upgrade, and do you know if they even use the encoder after the software upgrade?

@ You’re all good lol. The major upgrade OKC did was back in early 2023. They changed their software and also all the controllers on the Whelens. They also now have an encrypted frequency. And I’m 95% sure that the software they use now is all computer based, could be wrong though.
