I didn’t use to care much for cars as an object of painting, but you have made them very appealing to me. Your car is quite wonderful, and it’s impressive how quickly you made it appear. It’s loose, yet shows exactly what it needs to. Your very gifted at seeing LiRon.

Beautiful as always! I feel like the looseness of the drawing really adds to to energy and sense that the racecar is going fast

This is really phenomenal! You have a great deal of talent and an ability to see things very clearly and I'm grateful that you are sharing that with us.
One thing I don't understand is what is that white strip at the rear of the vehicle? Is it possibly the spoiler on the back end of the car? In which case, would it not be a shade of green, despite the light reflecting off of it?

This is a great painting, Liron--- there is so much movement in it. Would you ever fancy doing a Frog-eyed Sprite-- a red one?

What do you do in order to not create water spot when you sprayed more water ?

    • @LironYan
      @LironYan  5 месяцев назад

I spray from afar, and early enough!
The later you do it (meaning the drier the wash is getting), the more spots will be left.
Now, as a side note, I often get these spots and don’t mind them (: They often fit well with the rest of the scene.

I want to try a car water colour , do you show the tracing technique anywhere ? how can you trace through the paper, isn’t it too thick to see the original pic. ?

    • @LironYan
      @LironYan  7 месяцев назад

As you can see here, I did do a rough sketch from observation (:
But whenever I trace, I simply place the paper on a computer monitor (some use a window on a sunny day, with the reference printed underneath), and go over the lines!
Sometimes the computer monitor method may require turning off the light / closing the blinds.
And sometimes I'll do it in the early evening, when it gets a little dark.
The paper I'm using (300 gsm) isn't too thich to see through!
Even 600 gsm worked for me in the past, but requires a bit more darkness.
      Hope this helps 🙏😊

In the begining, you are talking about the bead do you mean the bead of water? Sorry if this is a dumb question. I just didn't get it!

Liron, again another great tuition video, even if people not interested in cars, it's still a great
learning idea, as regards perspective etc, they finally got hard copies of your sketching book, and I
ordered it, its arriving any minute now !!!!!!
I wondered though, someone of your great Calibre, as an Artist, and Teacher, if anyone has given you
the opportunity of either doing a Video or Book, if not both, I think you'd be great !!!!

Liron, not long received, about an hour ago, your sketching book from amazon, as wanted h/copy, not the digital
It's great, also didn't realise, it is 360 pages, and is 10" x 7" or in New money is 250mm x 180mm in size,
a good size, the PRINT IS GREAT, as not only ( I know, I know, you couldn't make it up, but true !!!!, ), have the other
Health issues, but about 10 years ago, had cataract surgery, my eyes were perfect b4 this, and they blinded me in left eye, and left me with poor vision, in RIGHT EYE, it was proven neglect on Hospitals part, took 8 years, of cover ups etc to win, because of other Health issues, they thought I'd go away and die, they even did, assessment on how much life I had to live with other health issues about 4-5 years !!!!!!! yeah I know, very NICE of them !!!!! still HERE though!!!!!! LOL.
Got about 1/3 of £1000,000, but how do you price your eyesight ?????
I did it out of principle, and for my WIFE, and wanted to mark the main principle players copy book's e.g. Ref.'s etc, for the way
talked to me, and cover ups, wasn't interested in the money, but was fuming at way it was being covered up.
Anyway, this is why can buy, all the art stuff, etc, but I'D GIVE IT ALL AWAY FOR MY HEALTH, BACK, AND PARTICULARLY
    MY EYESIGHT !!!!
SO ANYONE WHO WANTS A DECENT BOOK ON DRAWING, I'D RECOMMEND LIRONS SKETCHING BOOK.
Liron, have you any other Art books, for a decrepit, half blind, who can barely walk, due to pain in feet, who would have
Gone Nuts, years ago, 64 year old with love of watercolour painting, drawing etc, & who may be is NUTS ????

      Steve my dear friend!
Nothing more dangerous than a person wronged like that!
I'm so sorry for what you've been through.
This kind of thing should never happen.
However, I am so happy they couldn't make you go away, so to speak.
Not to make a comparison at all, but I had one "petty" lawsuit on my end.
I did it because of the utter disrespect. Thankfully I won. The time spent wasn't quite "worth" the compensation, but I just could not give up on this one.
Anyways - super grateful for you getting my book 🙏♥
If you like it (I assume you refer to How to Sketch) - you may want to check out the How to Shade book too, it's in the same vein. Feel free to ask follow-up questions / details here or via email!
You sound completely sane to me, my friend (:
      Keep it up 😁

@@LironYanHello Liron, I ordered your shading book, it will arrive sometime today, although, don't feel so good today,
getting back to my eyes, at one point, was so angry, thought about revenge, waiting in car park, and firing ble!!h
into there eyes, and saying, this is what it feels like!!!!!! All my life, due to diabetes, biggest fear was going blind!!!!
And these OBSCENITIES, did this to me, and there atitude, was " SO WHAT, AND GO AWAY ", Unbelievable!!!!
They lied to me for 4 months!!! and I trusted these consultants, !!!! went to top Eye hospital in London, on own back,
& something very strange happened there, it turned out they knew them, this happened again & again, notes went missing for the whole 4 months, and attending there every week to 2 weeks, after there delaying tactics, for 8 yes 8 years, judge finally said, enough is enough, week b4 ruling, a load of notes appeared, you could see, they had made up, just a week B4, final
Judgement!!!! They offered me £80,000, through my barrister, on phone, I said No, they offered me various increments, until, my Barrister said, at about £300,000, they are now prob. Looking at taking it into court, as costs to them would be cheaper, then paying me, he also said, if goes to court, 9 times out of 10, judge finds in favour of OUR GREAT
NHS ( National Health Service ), I asked my legal team, if this was enough money, to hurt there Name, Refs. Etc,
AND Questions to be asked, he said Yes, so I then replied go ahead, accept it, NEVER GOT APOLOGY, NOTHING!!!!!
To them it was all about the MONEY !!!!, not what devastating impact it had on me, and way was treated,
How many other poor people had this happen to including deaths, with that Virus, ended up in there, they wanted to put me on ventilator, I said No, even in Critical Condition, 4 males, including myself, the other 3 were put on ventilators, I witnessed, them turning them off, after few days, due to COSTS!!!!!, Im only one, who came out alive, these others were in 30s, 40s!!!!!
Dont trust any of the Staff, doctors, etc anymore, so many times in hospital, but now refuse to go in, I'll wander off permanently, if eyesight starts going DOWN hill, even more, my wife knows this could be last Xmas, and knows what I will
      do!!!!!
But in meantime, my art is only thing keeping me going, and wife, but at times, it gets so bad, with pain etc, I get to stage, of enough is enough, wife has the kids, grandchildren, but always said its the quality, not the quantity of life, cannot work, drive,
Etc etc, basically housebound, and used to be on the go, working, sports hobbies, studying history etc, have HUGE LIBRARY,
OF HISTORICAL COLLECTORS BOOKS, ART, WW1 ETC, BUT NOW!!!!!
Never mind, I can read, but very difficult, can draw and paint, again but difficult, ONE THING IS I'M A TRYER,
AND I THINK MY WIFE THINKS I'M VERY TRYING ON HER!!!!!!! LOL
I'LL let you know how get on with your book on Shading!!!!
