So let me understand…she’s not mad at her baby daddy for taking back his jeep that she was using to take their son around…but she’s mad at her mum for even giving her a car when she had none?
I moved out my house and downsized to a 1bdr from a 3bdr home. All because my youngest child was disrespectful and entitled! I showed her. And she got her own place and currently has her own place. This was 10yrs ago… u gotta show them better than tell them how to respect you!
Parents are supposed to take primary responsibility for their children but I believe that under certain circumstances it takes a village. I had my first child at 16 and my second at 38. I needed my village then and still need it now.
Facts, the village is always needed although the parents are supposed to be the primary care takers of the children they laid down & created. I'm also certainly aware that there r extenuating circumstances, beyond the control of a minor bringing forth life. However, even as minors if the responsibility is given to others there will continue being children raising children. U can see just how that's working out.
The daughter is insistent on denying the guy gets physically abusive with her. He even said they fight at the end and she is quick to say verbal fights. Yeah, right 👀
I don’t think think the plaintiff is as innocent as she’s trying to make herself out to be, especially with the way she’s slurring her words. And also those were JOINT food stamps, and she probably only got them because of the grandson in the first place.
Thank you. And then she put the child out on the porch. The daughter has her problems, but the mom isn’t as innocent as she’s trying to make herself out to be
@PrincessZaire100 This! Like yes, if you aren't following house rules, you need to be in your own place. But to put her and the child out in the cold was crazy. Not even a "you need to go, but my grandson can stay here cuz he didn't do anything wrong." Adults need to learn responsibility. But it didn't sound like she was doing anything too crazy to be put out in the first place. It's weird how so many parents just give up on parenthood when their kids turn 18.
You signed a gift affidavit & HAD to put the registration in your child's name because you lost your right to register a vehicle⁉️ I'm not sure why all this was overlooked during this case. JM was coming down so hard on the Defendant but mummed not 1 ill word towards the mom
If you don’t have a seeious plan, then why not go to school? If you’re broke, then getting a skill from A SCHOOL is the best bet. People always saying school isn’t for everyone and robbing Peter to pay Paul
Unless someone have serious intellectual or physical limitations then they're "school material". We can clearly see that her lack of education and work experience is the main reason why she's struggling. I definitely paid attention to the defendant and I can see that she's actually very smart and strong. There's no reason why she can't commit to completing some sort of certification, license or degree. If she doesn't her life will not improve and she will always be in a position where someone can "kick her out".
I should have said not everyone is college material… a trade school or something similar might be an alternative. The percentage of single mothers completing their education within six years is less than 30% with some statistics having graduation rates far lower. The main reason she is struggling is NOT lack of education but an over abundance of poor choices.
In retrospect I stand by my original statement. The same behavior that would make her unsuccessful as a college student would apply to community college or trade school. Strippers are generally a mighty leaky vessel to put much hope in.
The plaintiff needs to grow up! She’s not a teenager anymore ! She is mother! Her child should be her priority ! Period! The plaintiff is not responsible for raising her child.
SMH, the Plaintiff committed fraud with the state and still won a judgment Oh & to the Plaintiff... a verbal fight can be just as bad as a physical fight IJS
I feel for the plaintiff, the mother of the defendant because she seemingly only wanted the very best for her. But you as a parent can only do so much for your child. At some point they're on their own and need to make the best decisions and choices on their own. The defendant has made alot of poor decisions including her baby daddy. I knew she had no chance to win here in this case and circumstance.
You took your grandson but just let your daughter get beat up ? WTH ? Calling CPS on your own child is UNACCEPTABLE. The MOM is a liar trying to make excuses for her OWN behavior by making her own child look bad ? She is slurring her speach too Lordy. She gave her that car and she had the stipulation that she would drive her around but she kicked her out and could not drive her around ! ! You kicked her out how she going to drive you around ? 😂
Kids shouldn't pay for the poor decisions of their parents. I wouldn't make my home a revolving door for someone who leaves and goes back to the person harming them again and again. So yeah, take the kids. Let the grown woman get her life together.
JM be acting slow. The plantiff got a DUI, they most likely took her DL away, she registered the car in her daughter's name, and the mother claimed it as a gift to avoid sales tax.
The defendant is pitiful. She can drag behind a man waiting on black eyes but she can't do right by her child or her mom enough to respect her.

It's the father & mother's responsibility to take care of their child, not the grandmother, that's it that's all!!!

Judge Mathis is wrong for saying the plaintiff is right for keeping the food stamps they both shared together smh that’s messed up…SMH!
Thank you. And then she put the child out on the porch. The daughter has her problems, but the mom isn’t as innocent as she’s trying to make herself out to be

You know not everyone is “school material”. That doesn’t mean that she can’t be gainfully employed.

The judge said...Trade School or Community College
