@dazzaoutandabout4870 they will ban duck shooting take quail down aswell then they will make deer a pest shut gma down and that will be it gone, only way to shoot ducks will be on permit
@@clarkeboyshunting no they are rapidly increasing which is the stupid part about it there is millions of more ducks around, every dam you drive past has at least 5 ducks on it. And not just one species growing it’s all of them. Then the government are blaming the “decline” in numbers is from hunters but it’s because there are so many of them overpopulating they are spreading diseases.
@@clarkeboyshunting are you sure your not calling female mallards greys, the mallard has bred out all of most of the greys in the South Island, can’t see why the NI would be any different
Population Pure grey ducks are now considered rare but no credible population estimates have been made. Their hybrids with mallards are widespread and abundant.
Hey there, fellow hunter from the US. It is a drake whistle. They are pretty common here in the US. You can get them for under 15 bucks. They can be used to call Mallards, teal, dove, wigeon and Pintail. I usually use them to finish Mallards on a non windy day when the birds can hear them. Very effective at calling wigeon in as well.
OMG five dudes with shot guns shooting simultaneously at the one duck, i bet by the time it hit the water it weighed twice as much from the lead poisoning, ha ha.
First shot for the vid appreciate it and keep it up😊👍👍

Thanks, appreciate the comment👍
Loved the video, duck shooting season is the best time of the year
Yep it’s annoying it doesn’t go for longer up here where we live but it does make it exciting when it comes back around👍
Good job boys👍👍🦆🦆🦆
Thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed it👍
Love it
🤙
Enjoy the season the short 5 week season victoria, Australian season is ending in 4 days not to mention the 4 duck limit
True. We live in the biggest nanny state. I predict a duck won't be shot in two years. Or a tree cut down etc etc under this government.

Yea it’s sad to see it going that way. Are duck number getting less and less where you are?

Hey lads, is this the only time of year you shoot this swamp or do you mid season as well
Nice work guys, enjoy your video, maybe you could add a A400 to your gun cellection 😂😂
Haha Harry runs the a400 lite and Noah’s got the a400. Good guns
@@clarkeboyshunting all of them are, each to you own,but nice work once again
What’s the flashing light bar on the opposite side of the pond.
I think it’s the flapper or mojo duck in the bad light
How many duck you shot that dsy
Think we got about 25 or something
Imagine how many you would have got if you didn’t have country music playing.
That brings them in
You’d be bloody lucky to find a pure grey in NZ wouldn’t ya, certainly weren’t around in South Canterbury when I was shooting back in the 80s
There are a lot of greys where we live on the Coromandel. Very few green heads anymore

What shells are you using doing a good job
We’ve been using Kent fast steel 3” 3 shot for the past few years. Seems to go alright. No problems apart from our own aiming haha
you kicked on an ecaller. or electric call for the groups you shot into. what kind of bird was those. not drake mallard whistle.
They were paradise ducks.
Need some motion on the water
We’ve normally got pulleys out each side of the maimai but one broke on the Friday night. You can’t see it on the video though. Definitely key🤙
What that caller name that looks like a mallard beck
It’s a drake whistle. Hunting and fishing has them in NZ.
Mantap Saudaraku
Thanks
What’s the weird sounding call
I think it’s called a drake whistle

Browning A5 beats the hell out of benelli
Never tried the Brownings. The Benelli goes good though.

Steel poisoning
*6 dudes with shot guns😂
Their recoil pads don't last. 2 seasons and its deteriorating. No wonder its always out of stock on their website.
I’ve had my M2 for 7 years and the recoil pad is still good as gold
