@Roni The severe cases aren’t just people losing hair. There have been well documented cases of people receiving long term scalp damage, that can’t be medicated. Some of these cases being former big promoters of the brand here on youtube. Also, I agree, personally I wouldn’t use their products knowing this now..
I don't know if it's just me, but when you start cutting off splits ends/damage parts of your hair, at first you get a little upset because it's cutting length but at the end, you looks so amazing and your hair is so health and it just feels so great like no regrets after, I got a cut last month and it just felt great

(and then I loc’d my hair two months later 😂🤦🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️) But I definitely should have gotten one wayyyy long ago in my natural hair journey instead of going to non curl friendly stylists to do it, or hacking it ✂️ myself 🥴 ETA: it looks awesome! I need a shape-up with my hair as well. Despite all my best efforts, the front always is longer than the rest. I've reached the limit of what I know how to do/feel comfortable doing with it myself, as it's mostly short, I have bad vision, and I can't get a good eye on the rest of my head 😂. The last time I tried to book someone, half were still closed from Covid and half were booked up for people's graduations, so I said screw it. Might have to wait a little longer now as wrll as kids get their back to school looks, lol. But before this year is out, I'm sitting in someone's chair!

Lol. I did the wolf cut on my hair, it was not happening. Long story short I wound up cutting 3 inches off and so happy I did. I was not about to pay $150+ for a haircut. I blow dried it, put it in a ponytail and did a blunt cut and then I brought it to the front tied it under my chin and cut it a little more so it didn’t look like an asymmetrical bob.
