Hi Patsy, While they are typically treated as one-time bloomers when forced indoors, you can try to preserve the bulbs for reblooming in subsequent years. Here's what you can do after paperwhites bloom: -Once the flowers have faded and the blooms are spent, cut the flower stems back to about 1-2 inches above the bulbs. -Allow the foliage to naturally yellow and wither. This process is important because the bulbs store energy for the next blooming cycle. During this period, continue to water the plant as you normally would. -When the foliage has completely yellowed and died back, stop watering the bulbs. This allows them to enter a period of dormancy. -Once the bulbs have gone dormant, you can carefully dig them up. Remove any remaining dead foliage and clean excess soil from the bulbs. -Allow the bulbs to dry thoroughly. This can take a few days. Place them in a cool, dry location with good air circulation. -Store the dried bulbs in a cool, dark place until it's time to replant them.
Just a reminder, some varieties of paperwhites, like Ziva, can be quite strong in scent that not everyone likes. Nir, Wintersun and Inbal have a less pungent scent.

Do you plant armillisis the same way? I probably misspelled it.
Yes, these instructions also work for Amaryllis bulbs!

Thanks for watching and sharing that additional tip!
