He's right but people outside our industry usually can't tell. I don't know many who spent so much on plugins chasing a hardware sound. They all knew hardware was better, but, plugins are inherently cheaper if one sticks to the essentials and truly learns how to get the most out of each plugin before buying another one thinking that just having more plugins will make you better. It's not always what's in the kitchen that matters but rather who's cooking.
Yes, hardware does make a difference. Also best to calibrate (if possible) your convertors to -20 dBFS to take advantage of the analog saturation. SR@96K would make sense too, to capture the air.
@@alldetected3106 I would go for Pro tools HD 10 or below, Old Digidesign 192 I/O, Mackie mixer, UA 6176 If that’s expensive, then FL studio and UA 6176 Any mic will do, depends on ur genre
And thanks for sharing your thoughts on this busyworks it needs to be talked about more cause people automatically assume their 500$ interface or mic is going to magically make them sound better
Can you do a video of setting up analog gear to mix? I recently got a rack of warm audio stuff. Pre, eq, 76 and 2A. I use them for tracking but how do I make it to mix. Physically with wire rearranging and in the daw. I tried another tutorial with the daw configuration and it made a whole lot of humming.
Your audio interface will need to have line outs. You can use these additional outputs to send audio from your DAW to your rack units. Then, you’ll need inputs on your interface to capture the audio back into your DAW. In FL Studio mixer, you then choose the inputs that you just created for your rack unit audio.
@@busyworksbeatshow do I make fl studio recognize mono I/O all my I/O is on stereo for 1-2 for monitors and 3-4 as extra. I already went into my interfaces software to make each input and output as mono but fl keeps seeing stereo. And when I use one cable from line output 3 to my 500 series ,then daisy chaining through the bento back to line input 3 it just registers to the left on the mixer. Do I need to change daws? Or interfaces?
Hybrid is the way, but polyphony is expensive. This is the best time in history to get into music, used synths abound, computers are powerful, it all can sync and connect. Go dawless, or trick people into thinking you have more gear than you do with DAW magic. How do you like Massive X out of your 1300 other synths? Thats my poly fix Are you routing out of FL and back in?
Bro why is my microphone also on my master track? I want my master traxk to be just my beat so i can adjust the volume, and my insert 1 to just be my mic so i can adjust the volume as well
I prefer software over hardware because Iam always updating my software, and everything is in my hands. But it's up to whatever a person prefers. Note: hardware is expensive, and shortages do happen. So be safe my dawless friends.
Maybe not to make it, but to create a pleasing sonic, I think so. Even, just having a treated room, I consider “hardware” even though it’s not hardware by name. I guess out of the box is a better term
No you don't "need" hardware to make it. You also don't need hardware to get a pleasing sound. Hardware may make it sound better to a trained ear, but it is certainly not "needed".
How do you make the song go through the hardware after the beat was already made ? I’m new to hardware, I don’t know how you were able to just switch it back and forth with and without hardware
Hey everybody I really need some help. My cpu is complete trash on my laptop, like if i have 10 plugins or so my cpu is already at 99 and I can’t even make 1/4 a track. I’ve tried all the little tips and tricks and nothing works. can anybody help me out or explain what’s going on?
Or use MPC instead of FL. That beat sounds just like a FL beat. I started out using FL 7. I just started using MPC software in 2018. I'll tell you right now FL is collecting digital dust.

yuppp this is facs
"Hit the smash button" 😂❤️
I fully agree. Analog sounds much deeper, warmer and richer. Digital stuff just sounds flat and cold....
For every like this gets BWB has to add one more second of "sssss" in his intro
So thankful for the information. Kindly let us know your hardware setup so that we can know the basic ones for a start. Prioritize

What your interface also ?
Do you have an outboard gear setup video???
I have A lot of hardware from Tube Tech to UA 1176, and I can confirm whatchu saying... hardwares saves A LOT of time
In your opinion What's an essential piece of hardware for me who's getting into it.

Naw it's bad mixing
I had a boss900 and now have just computer now going back to the hardware.
can you show us how to wire cable this in and the chain and how to get it all in fl
Any videos of how you have it hooked up ? I’ve always wondered how to run vocals through hardware from flstudio
Start out by buying an audio interface buddy
I need more clarity. Youre playing the song on ______ to _________ hardware? Thanks for all your tutorials / game
yo busy, shoutout to you for making fire videos

Humming is due to poor electricity/ grounding in signal

Thx for that tips and tricks over and over again!😌✌🏾❤️
What analog gear gives it that openess sound

Thanx for the info 💰💰
Just know how to use everything on your daw before you hop on any expensive audio gear otherwise you don’t got a clue on how anything works
What brand is your headset?
How you sent the beat mix to the hardware ??
And i produce with earphones
NOW I UNDERSTAND WHY CHIS LORD ALGE GOT SO MANY HARDWARE LOT OF COMPRESSORS
Busy stay with them gem thanks, but do we really need Hardware to make it just askin?

Assorted 500 series modules
Still sounds like shyte it's bad mixing
hit the smash button
yes.
whats the hardware?
with the digital dolby age we be getting there where software wont need hardware anytime soon i mean fl is digital right bt lets just ,make music

If you use FL don't use the plug in EQs. Use the channel EQ that's under where the plug-in slots.
@@RickRijuanaPro so don’t use parametric eq 2?
buuuuusy workssssss beatsssssssssssssssss
HAHAHAHAH I LOVE WHEN YOU DO THAT
mane i cant hear the difference clear with yo vocals lol

Hence why my beats sound thin 😂
