He swim as perfect as you can do in this distance. if he do what you say that might slow him down actually because he need certain techniques to keep this WR speed which is not easy at all. He has great rotation but his stroke isn't perfect. He drops his left wrist just before his catch and he breaks at the waist when he breathes coming off the wall. Both things cause additional drag which means he can get even faster still.

You are wrong- going 14:30 will require for him doing sub 29 seond splits only on the last 8~10 Laps, means another 6~8 additional laps.
