    That is beautiful. Does one have to winterize a natural pool as with typical backyard pools?

      Hi it depends where you live, in the UK we don't freeze as much in winter and the pipework is buried below ground, the filtration pump runs 24/7 which keeps the water moving even in freezing winters. You can drain down some of the fill water filters which are sometimes above ground, but you just leave the pool to change with the season, it becomes a giant sky mirror in winter- just stunning 😊

      Ducks are the worst, they shit everywhere and come back each year to nest.

      frogs and amphibians are welcome, they stay hidden amongst the water plants, but ducks upset the ecological balance and create a nutrient gain which causes algae so we shoo them away- as long as they can't settle and nest they usually don't linger long 😊
