Absolutely killing it, I'm 64 now when I was 20 I had gos and coops....was about the most crazy kind of surprises....much more than hunting with falcons or eagles
Now this is falconry that someone could actually gained some thing and retain from thank you for making videos like this. This is very helpful a lot more helpful than someone just talking constantly about what they're doing. This is awesome. Did you actually see what you're doing? Very very helpful. Most people are visually. They learn visually not from listening. They don't learn anything from listening someone talk about it you learn from seeing it. Thank you for making this video.
Great Goshawk! Beautiful bird btw. I havent gotten up the motivation to try training a Goshawk just yet. For now I am sticking to Red tails and Harris hawks😄
6:22 i know that feeling. We have areas in the US like that. One time it was easier to crawl under to get to a gos, but i ended up covered in poison ivy.
@@kevinparker461 ahhh...it kinda reminded me of Angel....she had a nest cam brood this year. was very intense to see her first clutch with a new beau. ....I didn't know that uks goshawks look like that...very cool
Sir. You are going to have a Awesome Hunting friend in a few more Years. I love the Dog & the Goshawk Working Together. Nice work out for you two Super hunting Friends. Looks like the Goshawk gave you a Workout Too. Sir your Goshawk is she or He? Does the Male fly Faster? Thanks again for the Video.
That is a sweet bird, love how your dog lets the bird do it’s thing, who came first the dog or bird and how long did it take to them to be comfortable with each other
real or staged? staged as in like hunt training session? When your with other falconers do your birds try and fight each other? can y'all fly multiple at one time?
Why watch? Why buy meat that has literally been bred to be slaughtered and usually been kept in sub par conditions when you can eat healthy wild game that has lived a natural life?
They are not yours or anyone else's pheasants. Suppose you could argue they belong to the land owner and they let me fly them. I'm sorry if you don't like seeing pheasants given a fair chance but we don't all want to blow them to pieces with a shotgun soon as they flush
@@dannymuzzi3906 planted them? Do you mean you go and let pheasants go just to shoot them? No planted pheasants here mate that would be illegal. Pheasants I fly are all wild actually living outside. Ya can keep ya planted pheasants I've never given my hawk bagged game

GOD I NEVER SEEN WHITE GOSHAWK SHE IS BEAUTIFULL,,VERY VERY NICE
Nice to see a goshawk taking birds on the rise 👍. Also those brambles looked terrible.
Thanks
Some good clips and lovely ground .
Never seen a white goshawk, didn't know that even existed.
I bet it's leucitic,...very rare!
@@DjMicr0dotNope! ... its just a white Siberian Goshawk, albidus. Lots bred in the UK>

She is female. Males maybe slightly quicker acceleration but over distance I would say a female is faster.

Dogs 1st. Bird was raised and trained with the dogs always there
What do you do when it takes the birds down far away like in the woods
@@tamsinc6601 they have transmitters on so you can track them down
Good evening, where did you find such a bird? I only have a gray Grouse, unreal beautiful, thanks for the video, like it!
Bought her off a fellow falconer who also breeds them
@@goshawking8578is it a female? also are all his birds (I'm assuming)leucitic or were you just lucky?

Was that a blackberry patch you had to dig through? Ouch!🤕
Yes mate 6ft high aswell 😂 too much of the stuff round here
Was this a male or female gos? Pure Siberian or hybrid?
Great job👌🦅😍

Serious dearth of hen pheasants in the UK! Surely you can hawk them, right?

All wild game. Certain species of raptors can be flown together but not goshawks they would try to kill each other
