The Ewe that had her lamb literally drop out while she was standing there and then turned around and scared herself and a walked away, was the funniest thing so far it was like "Hey where did that come from and nope it is not mine!" Great beginning to lambing this season. Have a great day Sandi!💕

I was thinking the same thing of Sandi leaving those teenagers together with this as a result. Poor Sandi, looks like you putting off moving those ewe lambs away from those teenage boys is making for a crazy June. Oh well, more to love, right? I was wondering about the vaccinations the ewes might have missed... don't the ewes get vaccinated when you decide they are going to breed or maybe while pregnant?

Sandie's videos are as good as they get. They have all the elements of an award winning book or movie. They make me laugh, chuckle, cry, sob, Happy to learn something new, wish I was there, glad I'm not when there are rocks to pick up or hard decisions to make, bouncing along in the fields, picking yuk off my clothes and smelling earthy smells, parting with my loves, and hugging each new baby and congratulating and encouraging the new moms and enjoying every moment and still look forward to the next videos! Won't lie... the ewe that seemed to think her baby was just a big turd, then turned around and it moved! EEK! MONSTER! Had me busting a gut! Hahahaha. 😂 Seems this lambing group, oopsies as well, are doing fantastic compared to other groups. hopefully that continues. 🥰
Kinsey always cracks me up. She has her own world in her head, running around thinking she’s working hard and keeping the sheep under her firm control. And the sheep consider her the entertainment and probably gossip about her at the water troughs.

I just finished my cancer treatment recently and during I found your channel. And it made me feel happy, thar carried over after treatment. I've binge watch as many as I could.. l think I'm caught up about now. As I lay here for healing it brings me joy to watch all the popcorn popping in the pin lolol!
I get sad when you lose one. I know it breaks your heart. I'm not even there but I feel it. However you are the best farm foster mom, and the best nurse and midwife that a lil farm could have. You inspire people I'm sure of that!

Sandi, I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoy your videos. I found you early last year and was just a casual viewer. I soon became hooked on your lambing videos and my addiction began. At first, I was sad knowing that most of the lambs went to market, but I soon realized that while they were in your care they were loved very much. Seeing the process of how much work goes into our food supply chain has given me a new respect for families whose livelihood is thru agriculture. I want to thank you and your family for the blood, sweat, and tears (and also love) that you put in every day. Without your videos, I wouldn't have this new connection and respect for the fields and farms that I drive past and once took for granted. You inform and share the knowledge you have, but you also entertain and take us along on your journey. Thank you for letting me laugh with you, cry with you, and be with you for a collection of your moments. I root for you every day... keep smiling beautiful lady!

The Billie twin mom has such beautiful wool and her lambs each appear to be one of the colors in her fleece. I hope she's just a little behind the curve and milk comes in tonight. She's going to give gorgeous wool colors.👍

Watching the Ewe's have their babies brings me so much joy. But when you find a baby without a mama is seems like a puzzle to find the right fit. I just love watching this whole process. I love watching you. Living in a small town without having any "farm" experience myself - I am totally fascinated!! Showing everything makes it so nice to understand how hard you all work to ensure your sheep are comfortable and healthy.

The little black lambs remind me of the verse from "Floyd's Barbershop" on the old "Hee Haw" tv show when I was a kid. "Mary (or Sandi, in this case) had a little lamb. It's fleece was black as soot. Everywhere that lambie went, his sooty foot he put!"

Great video! These new mamas were the funniest yet! I got such a laugh from the mom who dropped her lamb, turned around & saw it & was so startled, she jumped! She escaped the area! Another ewe laying there instantly got up & left too! Lol!
Great start to this season! The 'oopsies' have sure made it exciting! Question? What is the record number of births for a 'first day'? 29 seems high.
I think Sandi has had almost fourty lambs (39 in Vlog 459) and 30+ lambs have definitely made an entry on a day. She uses things called CIDRs which stops the usual cycle (as in ovulation cycle) and if you pull them out, they start ovulating again. So, since they all ovulate/are fertile at the same(-ish) time, Sandi gets a lot of lambs in a very short amount of time - with some outliers in terms of the duration of the individual pregnancies but that is just nature being nature.
As for why I knew a specific VLOG: 1) It's in the title and 2) I may or may not be watching all the VLOGS currently in chronological order so they are decently fresh in memory. I am totally normal and not a crazy person.
I remember a few 30+ days in earlier videos, but I think they were further into the lambing sessions, not on the due dates. Anyway, this was quite a day. The lambs look great and seem to be good-sized - no itty-bitty ones so far. Hope it continues to go well, with nice healthy lambs and ewes.
