No other song in this game evokes the raw power and sheer majesty of their character more than this tune. Hats off to Mick, this is the best tune in the game, and my main is Hisako.
True epicness!! but Inferno's theme song from killer instinct is my No1. i dunno what it is about the song but it blows me away everytime i hear it. also a great song for a hardcore workout playlist.
Why do you continue? Centuries have passed, worn you down, and yet still... you pursue me. Was it that fool of a king? Was it his dying wish? I crossed oceans to elude you - and still you found me. But here, in this new time, I have access to power beyond your feeble imagination. So come, find me, and let us end this once and for all!
0:20 at this i always go back a bit and when the Announcer says Fight! I do a wind kick and Try to performs a killer combo when ever Im playing with Jago because of how this part is Banger!
Mick Gordon is literally one of the greatest videogame composers in the industry today. Killer Instinct season 1 and 2 soundtracks were godly, which makes season 3 without him so damn disappointing and subpar
@@deviljho4260 how? Season 3 soundtrack was complete shit. Doom got better while Killer Instinct declined due to Mick Gordon going over to work on Doom and Microsoft being idiots not securing and locking him down to finish off the KI series
Completely unrelated game, but I like to play Bannerlord's Eagle Rising mod as a member of the Carthaginians (they have Greek units until the Greeks trees gets finished) and when I waltzed into Italia at the head of a 275 strong warband with my Clanmembers following me with their own armies on a path to Roma... I _blasted_ this.
This theme amazes me every single time I hear it. I try not to listen to it to to often so I know I will always get that fresh "high" when I pull it up. It is such a powerful, beautiful, emotional, and just to good for words I think to me. This song is why I will never get tired of this game. The other songs are amazing and a couple almost equal to this even but dang specialmthanks for the genius behind polemos,Mick Gordon.
"To be silent, to be vengeful and hold judgement, for the one who foretold the betrayal, shall receive punishment for wrong doing". ( this ain't no Christian thing even though it does 😅) but what I'm trying to get at is even though aganos cannot talk but as a golem seeing the death of their king and Kan ra betraying the king, aganos holds a vengeance against Kan ra and eventually achieves it and how do I relate this? Well it's kinda hard to reiterate but basically my brother and were supposed to go on a vacation to visit my grandparents during the summer and go fishing with my grandpa but before we left my father said we shouldn't go because we always leave andy dad has never time with us so we were forced to stay and the next day during the evening my mom got a phone call from my aunt saying that my grandpa passed away and that shocked my mom, brother and me than suddenly my dad comes back from biking around the neighborhood and acts like nothing had happened until my mom told him. But what really pissed me off was that we could've prevented my grandpas death by flying on the day we were supposed to see him to see them but noooo my greedy father wanted us to stay to have time with us but in reality he didn't do crap and so in the end I called out my father blaming him for the death of my grandpa and he denied it because in his words " it was gonna happen anyway and nothing we could could do about it" ooo man that really urked me and so I shut my mouth and hold vengeance for the wrongful death of my grandpa towards my dad.
Okay what the hell is this shit, I owned KI on the SNES and played KI Gold long enough to know I didn't miss a giant mass of rocks and statue parts with glowing eyes! I'm not mad just shocked, someone please explain to me how something I'd consider a mere nuisance of a God of War boss is a fighting character that can both keep up and beat up ninja's, biologically enhanced werewolves and raptors, and legitimately other words, godlike beings???
Draven Thorson It is literally the wrath of god, fury incarnate made to stop a mad sorcerer known as Kan-Ra. Aganos failed and that opened up a portal releasing Gargos, even in the ending cutscene Kan-Ra was like "Ooohhh fuck."
No Chill thanks a bunch person, glad someone answered me :) and wow! O_O I can't wait to get this game someday, haven't played Killer Instinct since I was about a toddler either the SNES one and I wanna know so much more!
This whole game is the next generation of KI. And this guy, he's basically the sworn protector of justice searching for an evil sorceror that murdered his former king. All in all he's a magically powered cop made of literal stone.
+NightPonyGaming indeed the lyrics are Greek and they speak of victory and causing fear to the enemy if I hear right but it's hard for me to understand without headphones, my mobile's speakers ain't good enough
even though Aganos doesn't say a word, he is one of the most respectful characters on the roster
Indeed he is. If I lose to a good aganos player it's always a friendly gg. Love seeing people play the big man.
Even after the fall of Olympus, the Gods still know how to rock! Good for them.

This and Tusk's theme are the hardest in the whole game imo.

Kan-Ra kan't-win!
8:23 maybe it's just me, but I'm laughing so hard that Aganos has the sass to just flick that poor man a good 5 yards away from his location. XD
The flick destroys projectiles, too.
2 years late but just thought I'd let you know that if you didn't already think it was the best move in the game.
One of the best OST I've ever heard.
Kudos!
Holy shit! The Greek caught me by surprise!
Same!!

I love Mick Gordon, but season 3 soundtrack was simply perfection.
@@Unchainedful every travk on S3 is utterly forgettable and sounds like just random noise. Nothing is iconic like Season 1 and 2

This always had the best ultra themes
This is still KI's best character them. Mick Gordon blows Celldweller and Atlas Plug away in terms of composition. It's not even fair.
TOTALLY AGREE. This theme song deserves much more love. This song is for the truly music enthusiast.

Honestly if you were to remove the electric guitars this would fit right in with classic God of War's osts

Is this song and character inspired by Greece? cause I can see many references
+Xristos Argyropoulos All I know is the lyrics are in Greek and written by an associate of Mick Gordon.
+NightPonyGaming indeed the lyrics are Greek and they speak of victory and causing fear to the enemy if I hear right but it's hard for me to understand without headphones, my mobile's speakers ain't good enough
Pretty much. His background says that he was the last of the war golems created by the Mycenaeans, over 3400 years prior to the game
One of the words heard in the lyrics is "Polemos". Polemos was a makhai spirit in greek mythology, the encarnation of war. So, yes.
babylon
Prostagma?
Vulame. 🙃🖐
Man aganos is an titan maby can go against godzilla
Is it ejiptian music at first?
I think it's Greek, which would make sense if I'm remembering his backstory correctly.
and Babylonian. It's also Babylonian.
:V
I think his arch enemy kan ra is the Egyptian but Aganos is Greek.
