In terms of price value, the best camera I have ever owned under $50 is an unbranded mirror dash cam that I bought from AliExpress. I will place the link below. This camera has touch screen which I find to be a game changer over the regular cameras with physical buttons. The very best camera I have ever owned regardless of price is the Navycrest dash cam (from Amazon) with front and rear lens. This camera is expensive, $100 plus tax, but has the best image quality I have ever seen on any dash cam, the best night time recording ever, and an excellent app to go along with the camera. It's a bit difficult to install. Overall, the unbranded touchscreen mirror dash cam will do fine for most people.

I have the same camera , but the record light stops blinking after a few minutes,and I have to click it to resume . Is that because of the memory card quality or is that normal ?
The camera should record without you doing anything. Try reformatting the card. That might help. Having said that, if you watch my video you will see that I don't recommend this camera at all.
Isn't there a time stamp that would prove your back and front cam are synchronized?
Yes, there is. The problem with time stamps is that they often lose the correct date and time, specially on these cheaper cameras. While you could simply tell police and insurance companies that your camera's time is wrong, now you have a "story" to tell, and a potential arguing point for the other party. Unless your court case is internationally covered by the media, you can expect ridiculous arguments being made against you, such as, "the time mismatch proves this video is fake". A judge that doesn't like you could easily throw out your video evidence over a wrong time stamp, if the case is a regular trial and not a public one. The trials you see on TV are nothing like the trials normal people get. On TV, investigators examine the evidence for trials. In normal everyday cases not covered by the press, "cowboys" decide whose's at fault.
I'm not a celebrity, so I would not expect a public trial if I get into a serious accident. For this reason, I always leave the time/date stamp turned off.
The camera turned off whem am driving but does ia still record
The screen will time out if you select that function in the settings. The camera will record even with the screen turned off. To find out if the camera is on and actually recording, you need to click any of the buttons once (not a long press), and the screen should turn on immediately. If the screen doesn't turn on, it means the whole camera is off, and there's a problem there.

The best affordable camera that I have tested on my car and my family's cars for years is going to be an unbranded one that is often sold by different names but is made by the same factory in China and sold to multiple vendors. In general, it lasts for about 3 years. There are better ones if you spend the extra money but they last about the same. The very best dash cam we have had is the Nexar (from Walmart), but it's $100. I fixed the problem
Just turn off the stay on mode if your screen is off and red light flashing it's still on and will continue to work to solve everyone's issue has lasted over 3 months
With the separate video files should have time stamp I would think. So it's important to have time and date set correctly
If you live in the U.S., it's important to change the time on the camera twice a year, and not forget. Somebody that crashes into you will try to use any pretext to avoid blame and liability. I once had a man crash into my vehicle and his wife was more than happy to repeat his lies. When I told him I called the police, he would respond "Where's the cowboy?". I never forgot this liar.

Yes. It has a rechargeable battery.
I got one of these setup was easy and it looked fine. But the damn thing just wouldn’t say on ironically. I’m gonna return it.

No. This is a simple dash cam but either way, I don't recommend this camera because of the way it stitches the clips together.
Yeah I think it's reasonable to say its a complete piece of shat. I have android phones from 2012 that work better than that. Good review lol
Instead of splicing u can announce the date and time for each recording. A cam is better than no cam. Right?
Yes. I've tested quite a few cameras and I only noticed this problem on this one. One of the problems with making a huge file instead of smaller clips is if during a crash the camera is completely destroyed, the file that was being recorded will not be finalized and will not be saved. If your camera is recording small clips instead, only the last clip will be lost. Of course this is not good because the moment of impact will be lost, but at least the previous clips will offer some insight as to what was going on 60 seconds prior to the accident, assuming that the memory card is undamaged. This, of course, would only happen if the accident is huge or if the camera fails to finalize the file for some other reason. I tested this situation years ago with a camera that had a removable battery. If you removed the battery, the camera would stop recording immediately after disconnecting the power, and the file currently being recorded would always be lost because it was not finalized.
Decent video but oh my God the repetition was painful. This could have been a 12-minute video. After you said that the interior video was on a separate file it would have been nice if you explained how to access that file. It was helpful. So thank you
I show that at 20:42. As you will see, there are two folders made when the card is formatted. Each one is for their respective lens. Having said that, I do not recommend this camera. It has serious issue with connecting the clips together.
I bet your neighbors love you using there license plate numbers for your video.
I live in Texas where we are not required to blur license plates.

License plates are visible out in public by the thousands every day. There's no privacy with them. They're MEANT to be publicly visible. Average citizens can't do anything with them.
You should've left it at 1080P the review is for the public not only for yourself.
Understood, but I tested this camera for several days and I couldn't resolve the fact that it loses one second per clip. To me that is unacceptable.
@@skywind007Did you check that glitch or error happened due a slow SD Card? Maybe upgrading to a faster one could fix the issue?
