    When you said that this Viper V3 has lost its identity. Essentially, that's exactly how I feel about the DeathAdder V3 Pro. I love my DeathAdder V2 Pro, I just wish it were under 60g!!! Same feeling here...

      @wasabitech  11 месяцев назад +1

      Im pretty sure its just the current design trend of "minimalistic" design! and they'll probably re introduce elements of the Viper Identity that people love. Perhaps in the next 10 years haha! Thank you for sharing your preference!

    i love that type of texture on a mouse, i have the GPX superlight for over a year. I bought the Razer V2 pro and instantly returned it. Sticking with this mouse for now.

    Modded mine with a longer spring so I can use AAA batteries with no problems. With type C rechargeables I got mine down to 65g which is the perfect weight for me. Wish the sensor was centered but honestly after a week of usage I got used to it. I don't like how they named this the viper though as its a different mouse entirely like the DAV3.
    I specifically bought the mouse because its battery powered, there is a sizable market for mice like these and I'm glad razer isn't abandoning the idea.

    I have been maining my Viper V3 Hyperspeed for a month now with a Rechargeable Type C AAA Lithium battery which only weighs around 7grams, managed to get the mouse down to 69grams. The battery life lasts for around a week of use which is not a problem for me because I have 3 reserves of the rechargeable battery and I can swap it anytime my mouse dies. This shape is perfect even for my small hands (17.5x10) been going back and forth with my other mice but I aim really great with the Viper V3(currently Imm2 in Val). The forward sensor position doesnt really bother me it just takes some time to get used to I guess? But yeah I agree with everything you've said and this will be my main until a Pro version comes out. :)

      Heyaa! Thank you for sharing your experience on this mouse with everyone here! and that is a great way to make the mouse "rechargeable" haha! I think that many people have forgotten about the existence of rechargeable batteries (even me) 😅
      I'm glad to hear that this mouse is working out great for you as your main! Until the pro version. I hope they make a white one available at launch 😂 Thank you again for your time!

    I am on the OG Viper mini and since this mouse was announced,I have been counting days to the eventual release of VIper V3 PRO maybe in Q3 or Q4 2024.
    This shape along with 60 g weight and an even better sensor(3950 sequel)will be the perfect mouse and may be my end game.

    From my experience of using the Viper V3 model, I think what Razer is trying to do is to sort of see how the users reflects on the mouse, so they can sort of adjust when releasing the Pro version of the mouse, and to me as a mix of Deathadder V3 Pro and the Viper V2 Pro, the model is pretty good for nearly all the grip styles. BTW this does reminds me of the GPW though because it adapts so well.

    Please make a review on the helios ii pro xd3v3! It's an excellent mouse for the price, ordered it recently. being a clone of zowie s2 everyone seems to give it a thumbs up at everything except the ttc gold switches which aren't the best but its not bad, imo great.

    I think Razer is testing this shape since honestly the other viper is polarizing in terms of shape. It's either you love it to death or won't work for you at all. I think they could have just given this the cobra name and kept the current cobra under the viper lineup as a viper mini. If they release a pro version of this, it isn't a bad consideration. Especially if they make a lightweight version of this.

    I hate this mouse. I hate the fact that this has a removable battery. I hate the fact that with the battery (AA), it weighs nearly 80 grams. I hate the fact that the main switches does not come with optical switches. I hate the fact that it comes only in black. I hate the fact that IN THE BOX, there is the dongle, but no extended dongle whatever it is called because it is a removable battery kind of mouse. I hate the synapse because I think customising the LOD and etc is too vague, not much options. I hate Razer.
    BUT I hate the fact I love this mouse. I hate the fact that the shape is perfect for me. I hate the fact that the front placed sensor is making me hit all of my shots. I hate the fact that for once the Razer quality is up there. I hate the fact that the coating is amazing. I hate the fact that the buttons feel so good. I hate the fact that I think the skates are perfect. I hate the fact that I have not had any problems with this mouse. I hate the fact that I am maining this mouse. I hate that this is somehow the best mouse that I have ever used (might get the Xlite v3 so IDK). I hate Razer.

      Haha thank you for you comment!! its rather interesting because those are feelings and thoughts that people can relate to. It's a good piece of tech and I hope that Razer sees that and works towards improving on the things you have mentioned. All us gamers want from them is to improve and be better for all to enjoy :)

    Thank you for the review! Have been thinking about purchasing this mouse for awhile now because it appears to be the closest in shape to the Viper Ultimate which was my favorite mouse shape of all time. The only downsides are the battery and no optic switches. But for $69 you probably can’t go wrong trying it out. Can you use this mouse wired to reduce the weight of having to place a battery in it? Lastly, does anyone know when the Viper Pro 3 will be released? Thanks again!

    • @wasabitech
      @wasabitech  11 месяцев назад +1

      Hello there! :) Thank you checking out my content!!! Let me get to your questions in order~
      This would very much be a mouse in Razer's mice offerings to be the closest in shape to the Ultimate. (One of my favs too!). I has changed im shape by a bit to give more support in the grip and fit more hand sizes (which is a good thing).
      You're right to say that for the price it is going for, you can't really go wrong with it.
      For this mouse in particular, there are no USB C or connection ports for a wired connection.
      I can't be sure when the Pro version of the Viper V3 would be out but it would most probably be coming out next year! may be earlier in the year or later, i'm not sure.
      If you have been looking to change your mouse for quite some time now and you would prefer using a Viper, what I would do if I was in your shoes would be to give this one a try for $69.99 and get a feel if this upgraded shape of the V3 is to your liking :)
      If it is, you would be very certain if the Pro version is a mouse for you when it is officially announced or you are ok with the HyperSpeed.
      Hope this helps you out a little bit! 😊

      A way for them to bring the price down i guess 😅 Afterall it is a budget offering for gamers who would not mind the battery! But I get the feeling that most people are waiting on the Pro version.
