Loved this! I lived in Malta for a year and my partner and in-laws are Maltese so this was interesting to watch. Good job communicating the history of the place as well. Yeah St Paul's Bay is definitely overrated, it's known as a tourist spot and I tried to avoid it while I was there. If you wanted a proper beach on the mainland then Golden Bay and Ghajn Tuffieha are the ones to go to. And Gozo is totally worth getting the ferry over to for a day or two as it's more rural and more like the Malta of 50 years ago.
