      Artest and Pau were everything for the Lakers in the clutch.
      Artest literally saved the Lakers with daggers and game winners in those Playoffs rounds, what a player.

    And that's why I always have that 2010 game 7 of the finals in my mobile phone. Just the best finals game 7 of in the past 2 decades. Ruthless Tough D game. 83- 79. Kob 23 and 15 artest 20 anf Pau as well. Just 1 field goal for kob in the fourh. And yes! The artest victory jump after hugging kob!

    That game 7 was wild. I remember it they had to do everything to keep the gap from the Celtics coming back in the final minutes.

      Yeah it was definitely wild 🤦🏽‍♂️ Kobe fingers on his shooting hand was so injured that he couldn’t knock down shots but he still came up clutch (as usual), grabbing 15 rebounds too.. Not to mention the defense that was being played back then 🥴 I was happy as fuck for my Lakers 🏆

    ….ALWAYS was a big Ron Artest Fan, dating back to his days playing High School ball @ powerhouse LaSalle Academy in Manhattan.
    But I really grew to appreciate him when he led a St. John’s team to the Elite Eight

    Lakers were down big in Q3 in game 7 and calmly came back. It was similar to game 7 against Portland in 2000. The Celtics kind of stopped scoring and it got easier for the Lakers as the game went on.
    Gasol, Odom, and Artest were great. Gasol missed way too many free throws though. It didn't need to be that close.

    That Go Hard mindset will get you if you don't take control of it. He learned from his previous lack of control in crucial moments, AND no one wants to be the guy historically remembered for losing Kobe a winnable Championship.
    Meta always had respect for real DAWGZ, and he made them know it by his play against them. For Kobe to welcome him...RESPECT!

    What’s funny is he came to the Bahamas the year the Lakers beat the Rockets and some of my coworkers told him to join the lakers and his eyes lit up. We knew then that he wanted to be there.

      @@jamesen6234 his whole team had his back and went all out for him and was the most dominant team, Ron ruined that whole franchise by jumping in the stands, then he demands a trade from team after they still stuck by him. THen he cuts off communication between all his old teammates and goes on to become friends with the guy who threw the beer at him. When the interview the guy who threw the bear he didn’t give a damn and spoke like he would do again smh. All that would had been avoided had he just man up and fought Ben Wallace.

    My advice to kids....if you want to score 20+ but you are not considered the top scorer on the team.....get your points from offensive rebounds, putbacks and fast break steals. And dont let your defender recover get a second wind by him just standing there even if you not getting the ball keep the gas pedal on your defender so he loses strength by the end of the game, easy buckets

      Kobe was playing with 2 separate injuries this postseason. Look at his fingers all taped up when he dropped 23 straight points in Game 5 and the Lakers still lost. When you're that injured you're allowed to cite that.
