Great video, i have one the same here, but CANNOT get it removed from the transom shield. The collar has broken off and its siezed in there, any ideas?
If it goes up but not down or visa versa its the relay. The 2 square boxes with 5 wires each under the trim motor cover. U got some from the auto parts store for $12. But now it won't go up or down and I need more help? 1976 Volvo 280. It has always worked fine untill now. I changed the fluid and It started to go back up and now won't go up or down?? I'm open for suggestions as its going to be 80 out now here in Washington State.

Did you ever get it resolved!? If the motor doesn’t run then could be relays or a bad wire.. if the motor runs then it could be the clutch.
Any idea where I can get parts for this? I got a bad carrier plate
