  • On this Episode of catch and cook I jumped on the boat with my good buddy Lance and we went out in search of a flounder. Our goal was to catch a flounder and bring it home to cook it. This time of year you can catch a good number of flounder in Pensacola bay when the conditions are right. Check out the episode to see how we did.

    Hey man, I just found your channel on reddit the other day. I'm really enjoying your taste test videos. I lived in Gulf Breeze for 6 years, so it's nice to see some of my old fishing spots and stomping grounds. Cheers!

    By the way, you mentioned that you light the grill using paper towels because you feel like it's a "healthier way." Just a heads up, paper towels are bleached, so I don't know how that might affect it but I thought you might want to know.
    Nice fishing!

      I usually use 7th Generation towels. They are chlorine and bleach free.

    You can spend sand dollars at a sand bar. One stop on the way home? Sherman cove is just the other side of the spoils island, man. You probably should have tried Redfish Point near the salt pond entrance for flounder just west of you. Just be careful of the eelgrass.

    Hi Brant! I love your videos. I was just wondering if you know of a good rod for redfish, snook, trout and other similar species. I would also use it to do surf fishing. It needs to be $50 or less though. I have a 4000 size penn pursuit to put on it.

      @AnglerUpTv  7 лет назад +3

      I would check out the Penn Squadron. They make a nice spinning rod for around $40. I would get the 7ft medium. It's a decent all around rod. I catch lots of redfish and trout on mine.

      Cole DeWyse Outdoors check out the daiwa laguna its 40 dollars and its amazing trust me and the reel cost 40 as well but you can just buy the rod check it out online👍
