WOW!! This model has been announced for so long, now we finally get to see the parts, even if it's just a test shot. The result looks promising and I can't wait to get my hands on it. Thank you for sharing Chris, and thank you Revell for making this kit! 👍
Thank you R e v e l l for bringing Out this 2024 Corvette at full detail reprint. We appreciate the fact that it has a Full motor detail unlike some other cheap manufacturers beautiful tpoint thank you R e v e l l
This looks really promising. I think sending pre-production kits out to RUclipsrs is great idea. It will be fun to come back to this video when the retail kit is out to look at how things changed. I think the overall finished product looks good. The ride height seems a touch too high, which is something that Revell has always struggled with, However, since this is pre-production that may not even be an issue! Interior and engine look good too.
Vary cool to watch a prototype getting put together I have never seen any build like that I liked it hopefully you'll get more of them to build an thank you for your time you invest for us
That was super awesome of Revell to reach out to you about building a test shot for your channel. I have to say that from the test shot you have, I can't wait for this kit to hit the shelves so I can pick at least 1 up to build it!!! Now, at the end of the video, even without paint this is a BEAUTIFUL kit!!
Have not seen a detailed corvette kit for quite awhile. This kit looks amazing and I think the level of detail rivals any Tamiya kit I’ve ever built! Definitely want one of these on my shelf. Great job Revell!!
Thank you for bringing your viewers this test shot video. I have purchased a number of model kits based on your excellent build videos. Most recently, the Revell 1971 Boss 351 Mustang. I bought it as soon as I saw it at the hobby shop. It will be my next build. I will definately buy the Revell 2024 Corvette! Very exciting to get the contemporary Corvette in a full detail version. Thank you, Revell USA!
Awesome details on the parts. Great unpainted result. Revell is raising their quality from the kits since that yellow Mercedes AMG and the porsche panamera came out. The McLaren s570 was the best Revell kit i have ever build. They are now nearly up to par with Tamiya. This is for sure a gonna buy kit next year,or 2,3 or more. Love those corvettes
Great to see Revell making a model with a full detailed engine. So much more enjoyable to build and show. I've got mine on order and should have them in a couple of weeks. Looks like the fit is pretty good as well.
Man, there was a whole Lotta work in that little engine. They should make the bottom part of the car clear so you can see all that detail after you put it all together. It seems to be ashamed that most of its hidden. It’s just a suggestion.🤔🤩❤
Looking good so far for a test shot - would love to see what the final product looks like with some color and decals on it. I was wondering when a model kit of this all new Corvette would come out, given that the real car has been out for a couple of years now.
That is going to be one hell of a model when it finally gets released. Just out of curiosity, what colour would you pick as an exterior finish? Personally, it’s a toss up from the Blue or the Lime Green but the standard Red is great as well
My son works at the Milford proving ground for GM . He drives those Corvettes on a weekly basis . Including the Vette equipped with E-assist . 1000 hp at the rear wheels . He sent me a video of him working on a left hand drive for export
I may have built only like 5 models in my life but I always wished models had seat belts and floor mats. I always thought it would be super cool, just like having carpeted floors. I don’t think it would be too difficult to put in a rectangle or a carpet texture for the interior and belts. I know tiny doll houses have them. If there was a town car limousine with such things, that would be so cool. Oh a tinted glass targa top would be super cool too.
i use pieces of sandpaper as floormats. And you can paint them up as you like. Cheap and cheerfull. Seatbelts i make from 2 mm ribbon which you can buy in handcraftstores where they sell sewing products, the buckle i make from heated and pulled up sprue. Be inventive in this hobby.
@@TorchicNidoran1994 But not everybody is building a lot of cars. And buying 1 package of flocking for the just now and then builder, sandpaper is a good option.
I've been enjoying my "full size" C8 since 2020 and I can't wait to be able to build the scale model. Thank you for bringing us this intro video. Happy New Year!
A right hand drive Corvette? That is so nice!!! Been wanting to build a right hand drive car for so long. Great video and review of the car. Keep up the great work.
I was going to buy this Vette in die cast. But honestly I can't wait when this comes out to the public. Then I can add some personal touches. Like a large wing and chin spoiler.
First, I have been wanting to say this for some time now. I really LOVE IT when You put the children in their seats!! It is so refreshing to me when You do that! Thank You so very very much Chris! Now, The engine in this kit looks to be a kit in itself! Beautiful job Revell! The body is a work of Art too! I really like the body lines real jazzy eh!! The options, such as they are, are nice to have. For some reason the wheels are rather stylish, I kinda like them. Overall a very nice looking kit, er rather, "test shot."I like it, will have to consider one of them for the stash. Hey, Thank You for sharing with Us Chris, Thank You Revell and Model RoundUp, Round2, all the people involved in this hobby. Happy New Year, Take Care, Be Safe. Looking forward to more soon. Later
I like the apparent detail of the kit with a full engine and open intake grills etc. certainly makes one excited the see what the final production kit will look like. If Revell is reading, please include window masks with the kit, maybe some photo etch as well?
Great job Chris and shout out to revell awesome job amazing success to your channel for asking you to do the test build hands down the best keep them coming
Happy to see one of these finally coming out! Seems like they could have done more detail for the parts you can see (suspension, interior) instead of the ones you cant see (transmission, engine)
I don't think I've been this excited for a new kit in ... well..forever! New mold, incredible detail, and it looks like a blast to build. Only problem is that I'm going to need to buy more than one - color choices! I hope they send you another one, I'd love to see your spin on it with color.
Chris, great video build - hoping that R does a Z06 version and the new GT3 version of the Vette! Would also like to see a C8R version - that race car is awesome, hope R is listening!! We never did get a C7 Z06 or ZR1.
Great details beautiful kit. Only noticeable fitment issue appeared to be rear bumper to the body. Side gaps and/ or width seemed a bit off? Or it may be because that is the only major piece needing be fit to an otherwise one piece body? Can’t wait to get my hands on one. Thanks to both Revell and Chris for this preview 😊
Can't wait. Seems like it's hard to find Corvette kits, for some reason? Not sure why there isn't a C5 or C6 Z06 street car, without a bunch of racing livery on it.
Wow I have this on preorder Looks like its could be a bit tricky doing assembly working with pre painted parts but the detail looks awesome Can't wait but delayed again from a July/24 release to late fall /24 now apparently. Love the video of the test kit anyway I am sure I will reference back to it often Thanks
JOLLY GEEKERS HPIGUY😜🤪😜🤪‼️‼️ You Haven't Finished Showing The Body Yet & Ill Be Buying At LEAST 2 o These When Released 🏆🏆🏆🏆 Thanks For Sharing Buddy n Have a Blessed Safe Happy New Year 🎉🪅🎊‼️‼️🤗 Gary.
Might not be the most practical, but I almost wish you had to assemble the crankcase so you can attach that flat-plane crank! And, is that the USAF or USMC Band's recording of Auld Lang Syne?
I have the production kit in a box here and will be building it up soon. Thanks! Being owned by Revell Germany I'm not surprised you get it first over the pond.

Looks like Revell really did their homework on this kit!,i'll be buying a few for sure!,Thanks for the test shot build.
Finally a preview of this kit! can't wait to build this one
Thank you Revell for giving this model to Chris for a test car buildup. The details are amazing!
Congratulations on being asked to preview this kit… you must be proud of your success.

I’m really looking forward for this model to finally be available I think I’ll paint mine light blue with hopefully they make them black stripes

Revell is nowhere near tamiya standards. Maybe the tamiya of the 90 early 2ks.
Kudos to Revell for improving their product. Nice to see sharp, clean looking parts with lots of details and specific mounting points.
Great to see Revell making a model with a full detailed engine. So much more enjoyable to build and show. I've got mine on order and should have them in a couple of weeks. Looks like the fit is pretty good as well.

Thanks!
Awesome. Can’t wait until it comes out.
can't wait for this one!
Wow.. This looks awesome so far. I can't wait for this kit. I will buy it as soon as available for sure.
Thats a nice General Motors car this Corvette Stingray C8 Z51. I have model corvettes of my own. Wonderful kit & decals.
Very impressive! Way to go Revell! Thank You very much for the preview video. I am going to pick a few of these up and customize them extensively.
That looks like a pretty detailed kit, can't wait to see the finished product being built by you 👍👍
I work at a Chevrolet dealership we have 6 new C8's on our showroom this model looks really good and accurate
Wow that will be a must have kit
Nice build - thanks for showing us this.
Can't wait to have this baby in my hands !!
Great job Chris with out directions😊

My favorite car in your collection! Can’t wait to see you paint it and what color(s) you use
Oh Boy! I can see a few of them in my Corvette collection, can't wait!
Don't pull any punches when you get back to revell.

Floor mats are typically made with flocking powder and seat belts you may just have to make yourself

As of right now the kit looks great. You definitely have some great connections to get the privilege to build this test shot. Thanks for sharing.
Been waiting for this for a couple years!! I want 5!
So glad to see this coming out! I have a 2023 C8 and can’t wait to get one or two of these. Mine is torch red with red & black interior.
~that looks real cool without paint~nice job~😀
Very nice kit car build Corvette C8 Z51 besides Porsche or Audi R8 Spyder & Ferrari. Love your videos. ❤❤😊😊🤩😁
This is a must buy! Awesome job Chris!!
Awesome kit .
Great build . Your finish is amazing.

Thank you for another awesome review Chris!

Makes me excited for modern subjects ❤I will definitely buy one and just because, do it as a Pro Street 90s style 😮
I'm willing to bet you that you were just DYING to sling paint on all those parts!😉😂😅
I know many here have been excited about this kit coming out. Looking forward to the final kit to be out and remember to be kind, be HPI.

This is a nice prototype. C8 ain't my fav. gen of the Vette, but this is really neat.
hey never seen a test shot, but i love it!!

Looks great. Hopefully a Z06 version comes out too.

I'm having 3 I already have the paint in my head for 2, if it's moulded in that review Gray no paint just sanded polished and clear coat can't wait.
Chris, great video build - hoping that R does a Z06 version and the new GT3 version of the Vette! Would also like to see a C8R version - that race car is awesome, hope R is listening!! We never did get a C7 Z06 or ZR1.

If revell came out with their Jeep cj 7 renegade would you build it
I was wondering if you are going to build that dodge ram power wagon pickup
Oh wow had no idea revell was coming out with the C8 Vette. BTW you're Almost at 100k subs !!!!!
Can't wait. Seems like it's hard to find Corvette kits, for some reason? Not sure why there isn't a C5 or C6 Z06 street car, without a bunch of racing livery on it.

Yeah...need to work on that rear bumper. Doesn't look like it went together well at all
Revell doesn’t seem to hurry with this one..
I don't own one of those, but I did once own a Ferguson T-20, and thats pretty much the same as a Ford Corvette.
24hr LeMans version ?

looks exactly like the digital car from the Horizon 5 Game
Any idea when it’ll be released?

doesnt it have electric all wheel drive?
It looks like the parts literally just fall into place.
Why no paint?
