It doesn't matter if scars heal or fade. What matters is that you can find peace with them. Your scars are a unique part of you and your life. They tell a story, it may or may not be a happy story but it is part of your story.
you have to understand that Shen's cannon beat one of, if not the, strongest warrior in that verse. Po isn't easy that scared since he is the Dragon Warrior, but when you've seen what it does and fear for those who can be hurt or killed by it... you kind of have to pick a side and, realistically: they thought surrender was for the best. grant it, that changes when Po returns and all that and the speech he gave to Master Croc and Ox echos in their heads till they stepped up to fight, but still.
You've gotta react to pirates of the carribbean franchise....one if the best acting performances in cinema by depp. + the music in the movie is by hans zimmer(creator of "oogway ascends"), and he never dissapoints:D
It's a masterpiece of a franchise.... Great villains, great protagonists, brilliant side characters, and probably even best CGI in cinema....what else could you ask for in a movie?
eh, those movies are fun but they really lose me more and more as they go on. Honestly the first one, or at max the initial trilogy should've been enough.
Shen was most likely one of the reasons why Po became the dragon warrior. "One often meets his destiny on the road he takes to avoid it" Oogway's words still rings true in this movie.
Damn you know that cliffhanger at the end of kung fu panda 2 about the pandas. You don't have to wait, you can just watch it. Back then we waited like 5 years for the next one and damn that's a long time to get a conclusion
17:32, though that already makes Lord Shen smarter than the average cartoon villain. Since he actually bothered to build the entire arsenal instead of just the one
Watch Sage's Rain's video about Lord Shen I thought I figured Shen out but he still brought out a perspective about him that I hadn't thought about. It's a really good interpretation of his character
Shen is so cool! They did so many things amazing in the movie and animal related. If you listen closely shen make a peacock scream in a couple of po’s memories, flying out of the window and a few times in the factory. Also the soothsayer is the only one shen doesn’t physically harm.
At the beginning when you said po must have had a lot of time to practice he had a whole TV series to practice before the second movie thats why hes gotten alot better.
I definitely agree that Kung Fu Panda 2 is better than the first one, I said that myself when I first saw when I was a little younger! And, I have always loved it since! 😂☺️
Oh noee I kinda late for early seat 😭 Anyhow... yesss Kungfu Panda 2 is better than then1st one. To me, Lord Shen was a very intimidating enemy. Peacock looks like a very arrogant animal. Graceful, but arrogant. So Shen is perfect with his motivation and all. Also.... TIGRESS PO FOREVEERR♥️♥️♥️
A few seconds after the Po said to his adoptive father Papa and also said that he loves him, shows her that his father and his people are still alive somewhere. One hundred percent of the previously built up emotions were simply ruined. I love this movie though. I think it's really disgusting, this is this movie that crosses so many borders, in fact it was said at the end that there are still pandas somewhere. This is tantamount to ending Schindler's list of all inmates who escaped Auschwitz on a subway.
I LOVE the details in this movie, for example, right as mantis gets cut off when Po puts him in the cage, if you look closely, the figure was put in instead!
6:19, see according to the DVD commentary of Kung Fu Panda 1 when they started working on the first movie they were planning on having Mr. Ping just be Po’s boss and later on they decided to change him to Po’s father and they figured that Po’s mother would have been a panda. (After the Dronkeys from Shrek that wouldn’t happen been that far fetched.) But I think that this movie handled things considerably well by making Ping, Po’s adoptive father
I love this movie, it really is better than the first and it has so much emotional impact, missed the channel. havent seen ya in a while but good to be back
I actually prefer that they ended the movie with the panda as opposed to opening the next movie with them. The reason being is it doesn't feel like the next movie is just a retcon of the last movie invalidating most of the choices in the impact of it, it being at the end of the second movie means not all of the story was shown to us we assumed that because she told them all we just assumed he was true. So I makes the third movie also even better because it doesn't feel like it's had no purpose in the first place
10:10 Backstories Mantis: a great hero but totally impatient until crocs captured him in a cage for days than he got into acupuncture Crane: his mother was extremely overprotective, made him wear armor 24/7 & cover everything with pillows, because of her weak heart, he secretly got into kung fu, at first he was a janitor until he was taken into the jade palace Viper: his father was a hero but because she was born without fangs or venom she couldn't help her sad father so she cheered him up with ribbon dancing Monkey: he & his older brother got into a lot of mischief but while monkey was happy playing pranks, his brother went deeper into a life of crime, monkey's brother was arrested & shamed the family, a bit later, oogway took him in & trained him, a bit later, his brother escaped prison & claimed himself king of theives as he robbed his mother, monkey came to stop him, the fight broke their mother's heart & killed her Tigris: her parents abandoned her in an orphanage as a cub, everyone was afraid of her because of her teeth, strength & claws, no body wanted to adopt her, shifu took her in & trained her
22:40 that music in the background during that flashback gives me the feels something fierce. It really hits me hard for some reason. This movie was so good, the best in the trilogy in my opinion. It has such a good story and the animation is fantastic!
He seems to watch more live action films with more live action type humor as opposed to animated films with goofy humor, so maybe it’s just not his thing.
I watched this for the first time today, I was on the edge of my seat!!!!! The villain, the action, it was all perfect!!! Best animated movie I've ever seen!!!!!
26:49, yeah, in the first movie Shifu says that the Pool of Sacred Tears was where Oogway created the earliest forms and was thus the birthplace of Kung Fu
I've been thinking and I understand. If Shen from the second part of "Kung Fu Panda" had not overheard the prophetess ' prediction, then perhaps things would have been different, perhaps Shen would have become the ruler of Gongmen, and Po would have stayed in his village, or rather, he would not have become the Dragon War. + All the villains from the franchise were once good.
The 3rd is about equal with the 1st for me. Wasn't exactly my taste but the fucking villain was fantastic. There was also a animated series that was pretty good. And some specials that explore other shit like a christmas special and my personal favorite. Forgot the name but it's about po telling the stories of the origins of the 5 to some children
Hi Tim! Sorry I'm late to the party. While 'Kung Fu Panda 2' was phenomenal, it took me twelve years to realize that the MVP in Po's life...was the courier that transported baby Po from his biological mother to the young Mr Ping (Po's adoptive father), while evading the evil Shen. Nowadays, it must be tough for courier drivers having to travel small or large distances to bring us something we want or need on a daily basis. Who knows? They could end up saving more lives than just one (including your own).
The old goat said that Lord Shen could be defeated by a warrior of black and white, but Po is black and white. So himself is a warrior of black and white. Thanks I enjoyed the video, see you

Whomever gets that reference is an absolute legend in my eyes. An edit (I know that editing a "hearted" comment removes the "heart" for whatever reason but anyway): Thanks for giving my comment a heart Tim! :) I just want to say three things (one of which may be weird but hey, i'm weird as well so yeah) which are 1. I found your channel a couple of days ago as of making this comment and I really like the few videos of yours that i've watched so far so you've got a new subscriber! 2. I'd mention what the first video of yours I watched was but somehow i've already managed to forget which one it was and finally (the kind of probably weird thing) 3. I've got to say that even as a personally heterosexual male I still have to admit (I know that I don't really need to admit it but I feel like it could possibly be a confidence-booster for you Tim) that you're an objectively extremely attractive guy who could possibly turn a heterosexual guy homosexual or bisexual just because of your sheer level of attractiveness. @@aaronmueller1560 I enjoyed it. Its not bad sure i admit its not the best or as good as the 2 others but it wasnt bad its just people expected too much because the other two were amazing.
@@buburubus it’s a 3 or 4 out of 10 based on all the stuff I mentioned, that’s pretty bad. The plot and characters are broken, and it retreads old ground while ignoring major parts of what came before it.
If you notice in the part where shen is training, it shows him half black and white...signifying it was himself who defeated him.
I still remember when I watched it in cinema when I was little... Good old times
14:57 A panda performing a karate styled belly flop on a wolf from hundreds of feet high.
Tim's reaction? *Ow! That gotta hurt* - No shit.
Honestly, that wolf should've died from that.
Shen relationship with the soothsayer is hilarious
There are the twelve animals known as Zodiac in the Chinese Taosim Theory, The rat, Ox, Triger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Sheep, Monkey, Chicken, Dog and Pig, which we use them to name the year as well, btw 2021 is the year of Ox. But peacock is not in the Zodiac so Shen might just get a little bit of Jealousy.
Fun fact the change from 2d to 3d signifies that he how accepts what happened and accepts it as reality
I saw Kung Fu Panda 2 a few minutes ago and it's even better than the first movie and gary oldman did the voice of lord shen
🤡🤡
The best Kung fu Panda movie! Kung Fu Panda is just my Favourite animation movie ever!
As rare as they come, this movie sequel is one of the best I’ve seen! The first KFP film was very good, but this film...it is SO good! Also, Lord Shen is best KFP villain.😁
I loved these movies a kid but when i was younger i didn't understand it as much but now that im older i rewatched all the movies and realized how sad and deep the story was and at some parts i did cry 10/10 love this series
I mean it's kinda hard not to lose hope when your all-powerful master gets blown up in front of you. Poor guys were probably traumatised.
That battle was greater than the first movie
From fully oposing him Tiger became the person who understands Po the most of everyone
Gary Oldman voicing Shen is one of his best V.A. roles.
29:23, in the third movie it’s revealed that Oogway sent a message from the Spirit world letting Po’s biological father know that his son was alive
Lord Shen is my favorite villain of the Trilogy
You've gotta react to pirates of the carribbean franchise....one if the best acting performances in cinema by depp. + the music in the movie is by hans zimmer(creator of "oogway ascends"), and he never dissapoints:D
Faxxx....its honestly one of the best movies ever in cinema history, along with harry potter franchise for me
It's a masterpiece of a franchise.... Great villains, great protagonists,
brilliant side characters, and probably even best CGI in cinema....what else could you ask for in a movie?
Actually no, zimmer had very few stuff to do in the movie and most of it including shen's theme was made by John Powell
@@clutchthecinnamonsergal8493 Only for 1 and 2; Hans Zimmer made the whole KFP 3 soundtrack himself
eh, those movies are fun but they really lose me more and more as they go on. Honestly the first one, or at max the initial trilogy should've been enough.
Shen was most likely one of the reasons why Po became the dragon warrior.
"One often meets his destiny on the road he takes to avoid it"
Oogway's words still rings true in this movie.
I everytime get goosebumps when Po says _Skadoosh_ and throws the last ball
The best one of the trilogy in my opinion ❤️
Damn you know that cliffhanger at the end of kung fu panda 2 about the pandas. You don't have to wait, you can just watch it. Back then we waited like 5 years for the next one and damn that's a long time to get a conclusion
17:32, though that already makes Lord Shen smarter than the average cartoon villain. Since he actually bothered to build the entire arsenal instead of just the one
Watch Sage's Rain's video about Lord Shen
I thought I figured Shen out but he still brought out a perspective about him that I hadn't thought about.
This trilogy is honestly amazing
Glad you liked it
At the beginning when you said po must have had a lot of time to practice he had a whole TV series to practice before the second movie thats why hes gotten alot better.
Kung Fu Panda 3 was so good I still have Po Action Figure
In part 3 Master Oogoway explains why he choose Po to be Dragon Warrior
I definitely agree that Kung Fu Panda 2 is better than the first one, I said that myself when I first saw when I was a little younger! And, I have always loved it since! 😂☺️
Oh noee I kinda late for early seat 😭
Anyhow... yesss Kungfu Panda 2 is better than then1st one.
I love this movie, it really is better than the first and it has so much emotional impact, missed the channel. havent seen ya in a while but good to be back
This movie made me cry alot 😭😂
Tigress is the most badass, awesome character in these movies. lol.
Laughing at you being shocked they killed Shen when Po literally vaporized Tai Lung only one movie ago.
I like listening to score music from Kung Fu Panda 2
I actually prefer that they ended the movie with the panda as opposed to opening the next movie with them. The reason being is it doesn't feel like the next movie is just a retcon of the last movie invalidating most of the choices in the impact of it, it being at the end of the second movie means not all of the story was shown to us we assumed that because she told them all we just assumed he was true. So I makes the third movie also even better because it doesn't feel like it's had no purpose in the first place
10:10
Backstories
Mantis: a great hero but totally impatient until crocs captured him in a cage for days than he got into acupuncture
Crane: his mother was extremely overprotective, made him wear armor 24/7 & cover everything with pillows, because of her weak heart, he secretly got into kung fu, at first he was a janitor until he was taken into the jade palace
Viper: his father was a hero but because she was born without fangs or venom she couldn't help her sad father so she cheered him up with ribbon dancing
Monkey: he & his older brother got into a lot of mischief but while monkey was happy playing pranks, his brother went deeper into a life of crime, monkey's brother was arrested & shamed the family, a bit later, oogway took him in & trained him, a bit later, his brother escaped prison & claimed himself king of theives as he robbed his mother, monkey came to stop him, the fight broke their mother's heart & killed her
Tigris: her parents abandoned her in an orphanage as a cub, everyone was afraid of her because of her teeth, strength & claws, no body wanted to adopt her, shifu took her in & trained her
I love the fact that Po never questioned that a goose was his dad
I remember these movies and honestly I find them great, the story is great and the comedy is prty good, and the music is on point. Loved the reaction!
22:40 that music in the background during that flashback gives me the feels something fierce. It really hits me hard for some reason.
This movie was so good, the best in the trilogy in my opinion. It has such a good story and the animation is fantastic!
Can you watch also Tangled? Please?
man so much humor flies over this guys head. probably a cultural thing
He seems to watch more live action films with more live action type humor as opposed to animated films with goofy humor, so maybe it’s just not his thing.
Right all the jokes he just rolls his eyes 😭😭
Motivational Quote from KFP 2: "Your story may not have such a happy beginning, but that doesn't make you who you are. It is the rest of your story."
Kung fu panda 2 is a really good movie, it's one of My favorites:)
I like to believe that in his final moment, Shen found peace which is why he simply closed his eyes and didn't move when the cannon fell
Keep up the good work Tim
Thanks appreciated!
hi Tim, right now you’re my favorite youruber!!!you are amazing!!!
Thank you, really appreciated
Hi, just found your channel and I am binge watching your videos.
😎😎😎
I JUST REALIZED PO'S DAD GAVE THAT WOULD THE SCAR ON HIS EYE!!!
I watched this for the first time today, I was on the edge of my seat!!!!! The villain, the action, it was all perfect!!! Best animated movie I've ever seen!!!!!
One often meets his destiny on the road he takes to avoid it. That's a recurring theme throughout all the movies.
+ All the villains from the franchise were once good.
it's Oogway's quote from the first movie all over again. "one often meets his destiny on the road he takes to avoid it"
9:20 Did you say "Beet by a radish"?... Sorry I'll leave now 😂
The 3rd is about equal with the 1st for me.
29:26 imagine how frustrated 2011 people were at the ending because they had to wait 5 whole years before the next movie came out 😂😂
Love how the second installment of a family-friendly trilogy starts with genocide, good stuff~
The old goat said that Lord Shen could be defeated by a warrior of black and white, but Po is black and white. So himself is a warrior of black and white. Thanks I enjoyed the video, see you
When I watch your reaction I feel so old😂. I loved this movie when I was young😍
If tigress can make shockwaves with her bare hands and tylong couldn’t doesn’t that make her stronger then she made po break the sound barrier
Po's dad is the cause of the one eyed wolf's missing eye. Yk, the general?
29:14 Both scenes of Po's dads symbolizes some sort of connection to be equal to their son's love. :,)
7:07 I'm pretty damn sure Lord (or actually Master) Chen was from the island of Ninjago, wasn't he (i'm asking that as a rhetorical question to myself)?
Whom (if anyone) gets that reference?
Whomever gets that reference is an absolute legend in my eyes.
An edit (I know that editing a "hearted" comment removes the "heart" for whatever reason but anyway):
Thanks for giving my comment a heart Tim! :)
I just want to say three things (one of which may be weird but hey, i'm weird as well so yeah) which are
1. I found your channel a couple of days ago as of making this comment and I really like the few videos of yours that i've watched so far so you've got a new subscriber!
2. I'd mention what the first video of yours I watched was but somehow i've already managed to forget which one it was
and finally (the kind of probably weird thing)
I mean that as in like how Jacksepticeye is a completely heterosexual guy who for whatever reason is sort of, kind of bisexual but only towards Ryan Reynolds (if that makes any sense).
I love this movie and the reaction
