If you are getting into the RC hobby I highly recommend getting a nut driver as using the provided 4 way wrench is useful for small fixes but I personally recommend getting a nut driver and a hex driver. They are life savers
Great vchoices. I don't have a channel to post a video on, but I enjoyed walking that aisle with you. I bought some tools this week cause 1 of my oldest and dearest friends growing up sent us some money to help with a car repair. I made my virgin tool haul at harbor freight. Big woo hoo for me too lol. Thanks for sharing your talent and video, Rodney
Those Husky digital calipers and do SAE, metric, and fractions are awesome. They come in handy when engineers give me drawings with multiple forms of measurement...
Sometimes I spend a couple of hours just walking the aisles to see what I can use. I even go down the aisles of things that I wouldn't normally need, but they often have cool tools that are not in the tool section (sometimes specialty tools, sometimes tools that you'd think should also be in the tool section). You never know what you'll find and sometimes find things you never knew existed. I usually end up spending a couple hundred dollars on stuff.
Nice haul. I recently picked up that Channellocks snap ring pliers you looked at. Got mine at Menards for about half that price though. I like how you can get individual sockets at Home Depot. Menards has a decent individual selection too.
Husky speed collar. Ugh can't find those online, clearance item (hint: yellow price label). Had to chase down a half dozen HD before finding two that had these on the shelf. Great price, better than HF.
get precision plier set for the RC build, I have a set from harbor freight that I keep on my workbench pegboard and use them often for other projects too.
You sound like Randy from "The Christmas Story" (you'll shoot your eye out) when he was opening his presents lol I sound the same way my wife just rolls her eyes ha ha. Happy New Year my friend
I got a lot of gift cards for Christmas too but if I made a video like this it would be a little boring. I bought 11 sheets of 3/4 radiata pine $36 per sheet ouch. Just to sheet one wall in the new shop. Shop tour coming this week tho
I'll get the damage package stuff if it's discounted loll Great video it felt as if I was shopping, or like I was killing time while my old lady was next door at Jysk lol
LOL !! I did that last night. My first solo run at harbor freight. I spent about 2 hours roaming the aisles. I had a $25 gift card and I stretched it out pretty good. Added another 47 dollars in cash. Just little stuff cuz they're having a good sale next weekend
I'm glad I'm not the only one that acts like it's Christmas morning everytime I'm in this aisle.
Dan the man 🛠 The best Snips you can buy are Midwest Snips made in 🇺🇸
Best precision screw drivers you'll find at HD are back in the electrical section, the kleins are awesome and comfortable to hold
OMG, yes! I have a set of those and so forgot about that section

For your RC car there are took kits online with every took you'll need for your model

The crescent 2 pack that was at the end but not in the video is great for rc’s.
I got the baby cresent specifically for toilet bolts and supplies
Check out the precision screwdriver sets at Walmart, we'll one that has a tool section haha

The tool he called "mini pliers". But those are actually called channel locks. Used for round shit
Lol, I was at Home Depot earlier and grabbed the exact pair of Channel Lock pliers to feel them. No new tools for me though.
They feel good right?

The baby Crecents are amazing!
Harbor Freight picks all day long, Pittsburg I think. Like a buck and a half or something.

Pick set cant go wrong with harbor freight $1 for 4 piece.... Not much I buy there but thats one
I bought the husky precision driver with LED because of this video
Nice video. Even nicer if I had a 100 dollar HD card. Damn.
I work in the hardware department of Home Depot. So I just find it hilarious that this is actually subject matter for a RUclips video. Hahaha
Dude you really love tools.
my local home depots are trash compared to the ones near you. Mine doesn't even carry decent work gloves.
I'll get the damage package stuff if it's discounted loll
Great video it felt as if I was shopping, or like I was killing time while my old lady was next door at Jysk lol
lol
Thanks. I have the habit of saving my gift cards and never end up spending them unless I force myself to.
They make sooo many nice screw driver sets it’s hard to pick just one

From HD, Klein’s hands down

9:59. That husky ratchet is a very sloppy ratchet. Watch AvE and you will know what I'm talking about
You got a $100 gift card too lol
I can’t even watch this guy omg 😂 he doesn’t know anything about tools
-5 points on the Milwaukee vise grips for their use of a plastic adjustment knob.
What? It's metal on the ones I have, plastic would suck
@@Toolsinaction Sorry, maybe I'm just a goof. It looked like orange plastic on the ones you were showing. :-)
It's red painted metal, they're very sturdy.
EOSJOE it’s powder coated not plastic.
Loooool taxxxxxxxx lol
You didn’t look ones if they were made in the USA. Made in China is all you bought🙄
I hate that plastic bags are still legal there.
Are you mad that they are legal where he is, or are you mad that they aren't legal where you are?
I mean they’re legal everywhere. Just not free everywhere
YOU WALK UNDERNEATH A LADDER WHILE AN EMPLOYEE IS ON IT THAT REALLY UNSAFE!!!! 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡
