Cant thank you enough.. You are thousand times better than my anatomy teacher. Thanks for visualizing everything. As i am a visual learner, i cant help watching your videos.😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍✌️✌️✌️✌️👏👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍
It originates mainly from c5 and c6 which are a part of the posterior chord of the brachial plexus hence generally said as originating from posterior chord
Imagine river branches named as A,B,C coming together and make a single stream and branched again to E,F,G....now took one of that new branches....lets say E. E could have a mixture of all 3 A B C branches or just A nad B it's not mandatory to have mixture of all types of water in every single newly formed branch even tho they combined and divide as a same system
Thank you for your explanation! I'm about a year out from an ACDR surgery of C6-C7 and have still been having some issues with discomfort in this particular nerve branch with certain movements. From my research, I knew right away that this was the cause of my discomfort, based off the symptomology. I appreciate your detailed explanation of the nerve path and including the diagram of the blue-shaded areas in which it affects. In my scenario, I'm still wondering if that particular nerve is still trying to regenerate after surgery, which may be the source of my discomfort. It could also possibly be that it's so severely damaged from prior to the surgery, because this was where most of my paresthesias were. I'll follow up with my neurosurg group to see what they think, but this just further cements what I researched. Thank you.
At first I thought the pain i had in my front shoulder was inflammation in the shoulder. or bursitis. But actually it looks like it's this nerve I'm having trouble with. 🤔 It is absolutely insane how weak you get in the biceps when supination if this nerve is injured. is this nerve have somthing to do with subscapularis?
Thank you so much. I know its hard to do but look into the people who are getting benifits from your video. I think it will inspire you to do more . best of luck ☺
can't live without anatomy zone 🙌
Liar 🤣
This is helpful. After scapula surgery I still can't raise my arm 40 degrees

How come the nerve root supply of the axillary nerve is only c5-6 meanwhile the posterior cord has it's roots from c5-t1
How
He said its from C5 to T1
It originates mainly from c5 and c6 which are a part of the posterior chord of the brachial plexus hence generally said as originating from posterior chord

Simple It means that the nerve fibers which are forming the axillary nerve are the continuation of c5 and c6 roots ....
perfect video, BuT! but clinicaly important is that the axillary nerve inervate also glenohumerol joint and head of the humerus!

Thanks for the video. The axillary nerve also provides sensory innervation of the shoulder joint.
