I have been in and out of really intense pain in the last 2 years. Some doctors say its SI joint disfuncion, others say its spine degeneration, chiropractors are mostly clueless and physiotherapists have not been of much help... i know it sounds hard to believe 🙄 so I have decided to learn about these nerves, muscles and ligaments in order to explain myself as clearly as possible to the next therapist. I already feel much more optimistic just through the sheer quality of these videos! Thankyou so much. Cheers from Portugal
You can subtract root from every nerve , example ( superior gluteal nerve L4/5 S1 Then inferior gluteal L5 S1/2 Posterior cutaneous S1/2/3 Pudendal S2/3/4 Scaitic is the largest so it takes it all L4 to S3
I can not thank you enough.. without your help learning anatomy was really difficult and confusing ..i hated anatomy but now i think i am pretty good at it .. thank you again .. keep up the good work.. anatomyzone is my most favourite channel.. Gob bless
You'll be stunned at how many doctors are clueless when it comes to the nerves in this area and their direct and indirect impact on bodily functions in this area of the body!
Pls do lower limb nerves also just like upper limb nerves ..... Your channel was amazing I thoroughly learning it with joy it's just because of ur effort thanks a lot ..
very good work to add details. will be of tremendous use to Anatomists, Surgeons, Gynaecologist, Urologist, Laparoscopy Surgeons alike. Thank you for uploading. appreciate ur efforts.. dr.Shriraam Ayyar
For a career HD mechanic, with spinal problems around L4/5, I’ve watched these clips to try & understand where/ how my problems are. I’ve had a Laminectomy at L4/5, which fixed the stenosis diagnosis. But only for 6-8 weeks. Severe pain has returned but to what feels like the left side of spine in the same area, L4/5. From what I can gather from these explanations, I feel the pain is from the nerve impingement of L4/5 S1-2. My pain moves around the upper part of my leg, as pain, no tingling or numbness that I had pre op. Some times front of leg, others at hamstring area, rear, & into the buttock. The pain is when I stand up, but lessens when leaning forward. How does one get it through to neuro surgeons that seem to think it’s hypochondria. This is a very clear enlightening presentation, thank you. Cheers.
I guise even u don't know how grear u r... ur video is a lofe saver.. which chapter wud take 2 hrs of study has cut down into 10 min. tnx a lot and keep helping ppl.. p.s: plz also make some applied anatomy videos
I had a surgery in 2004 that has caused me severe pain ever since the surgery in 2004 . It has caused the pain in my groin, my right leg , my right vaginal vault with complete giving way of my leg on the right side, rectal and bladder spasms so intense that I can't walk when the spasms are occurring.
could you use more latin? Like sciatic foramen.. for me being not a native English speaker, it would be much clearer if you´d said foramen ischiadicum instead
How could anyone in their right mind look at obvious intelligent design of life, and continue to believe in the theories of randomness, that are taught under the guise of proven science?
Video definitely looks, and is scripted, more slickly v older ones however its much harder to follow. In older videos its almost like "a mate" teaching you anatomy... this one seems presentation-like. But thanks...
Going to have to agree with Rosh here. Compared to your older videos, this one is much harder to follow. Even though the 3d model does look better and words are very well scripted. I prefer your old style of teaching to this one. Never the less, your video is still amazing. Your channel and videos are a huge blessing!
Being a med student just got a whole lot more enjoyable with you around, Peter, I don't think u realize how many future doctors you're helping.
