I'm not sure if you read these comments, but I wanted to relate something to science because I am currently studying to be a vet. The "woke army" is almost attempting to over correct the problem. In medicine, life is a balance. If you over correct, lets say an electrolyte imbalance, you have the same problem in a different name. It is SO unfortunate to see my peers who are liberal, that I thought were above groupthink, succumbing to this dangerous ideology.
You shouldn’t be so surprised. Medicine is a self selecting group of people with a stunning lack of imagination, and a deep thirst for convention and obedience.
So grateful for you women. Im also speaking out to as many people as I feel safe doing so. I left abuse 18 years ago and raised 3 beautiful children alone. Great guest, truly a treasure of information. However, the host could benefit from structuring the conversation better: - the beginning of the interview dragged a bit - some of the stories told by the guest could have been better if the host asked for some background. Don’t just assume the audience knows everything - the host could also steer the conversation better to keep the listener interested instead of praising the guest over and over.
