I’m an exjw, and the individual jw might say that in a one on one conversation with you (or anyone) but you’re mistaken if you think that this represents the official position of the wt. Why else, for one thing, would they be trying to so energetically promote baptism?

I showed my mom Lett saying babies are enemies of god. She got upset with ME?! I can't even ask her what made her mad bcause she'll get mad. This cult broke our whole family apart. I'm a born again Christian and the other day I got a couple of magazines from two JWs that had their cart out. As I studied one of the magazines I felt that it was aimed at a second grader. They are so far off the mark with their "theoligy."
You can hear and see the nervousness in his voice and body language. He might be the next one out. These guys come across arrogant boastful prideful it’s not just a disability it’s more.

Hi! I have considered doing a channel in Spanish, but it would take a lot of extra time which I don't have at the moment. But in the future I would love to give it a shot! @@becareful8235 it's a mind control technique. It puts the listeners in a trance. It makes them feel comfortable. Like when dad would sit down with you and explain something about the world. It's totally on purpose and it's really awful that I used to try and give talks like that. I watch a lot of Christian videos and nobody else speaks like that. Some are fire and brimstone, some are hokey, some are very loose and casual, some show a lot of personality (guess they didn't get the Jehovah note that only the "new personality" is allowed)some are strictly scholarly with little personality. Nobody anywhere speaks like these jw weirdos do.

Agreed to drive my mom to a out of town convention in Tucson AZ about 6 yrs ago. I was never baptized so she still talks to me. I wanted my then 12 yr old daughter to have a frame of reference for what my childhood was like. We let my mom know that we'd only attend half of Sunday with her because I wasn't sure if I'd even be able to handle that much. I will never ever forget going to pick her up on that Saturday. The weather had been touch and go mildly rainy all day. The very MOMENT the convention doors opened and they started filing to thier cars it started pouring sheets and hailing golf ball sized hail on them. I was watching from the safety of my car and just hysterically laughing at the scene before me. The joke and exactly WHY the scenario was so side splitting funny to me was lost on my poor daughter till the next day when they gave the giant hail sermon and she got to hear it for herself 😂😂😂

Yet in Genesis, it is said that man (upon his creation) BECAME...a Living Soul (indicating the SOUL to be mortal).

I have been blessed by never having accepted any of this cult's propaganda. Growing up in Jackson Heights during the 70s through the late 90s, i was bombarded by these poor followers of the cult. Just about everyday, i would hear about Jehovah, the lies that the Christians live, how they are the one "true" religion, how their Bible is the only real one etc...
This made me research, study and learn about what happened while using THEIR doctrines. By 14, I, a mere child, could see right through the fog and was able to warn my parents who were cracking the door open to them.
Simce then, ive spoken out against them and have planted the seed of doubt in the minds of many (Praise GOD).

So which is it? Is God slow to anger or is he quick to wrath? It can’t be both, can it?
It seems to me that the answer lies in understanding that there is a distinction between “getting angry” and “kindling wrath.” Getting angry refers to the attitude God has toward his creation. Kindling wrath refers to the ways in which he acts out that attitude.
In this sense, we can affirm both: God is slow to become angry, as he tells Moses on Mount Sinai (and repeats throughout the rest of Scripture (see Nehemiah 9:17; Psalm 86:15, etc.). But after he is angered, his wrath, the means through which that anger is manifested, can be kindled quickly.
Romans 2:4-5 captures this distinction powerfully. After mentioning how the people have been presuming upon “the riches of [God’s] kindness and forbearance and patience” (referring to the slowness of God’s anger), Paul says that they are storing up wrath for themselves “on the day of wrath,” which, as we know from Paul’s words in 1 Thessalonians 5:2, will come quickly, “like a thief in the night.”
Ultimately, each of these is true and each of them is a blessing to us. The fact that God is slow to anger means that there is time and opportunity for us to repent of our sin. The fact that he is quick to wrath guards us against presuming upon his mercy and prolonging our rebellion.

Since the 1930's the WBTS taught that the 144,000 were "the announted class" namely EVERYONE that partook of the "Lord's Evening Meal" (the memorial) and they were the ones guiding and directing "God's Organization" even though they (the partakers) had no special place or rank in the Kingdom Hall and did not contribute to the writing department at the headquarters nor did they have any say over doctrine or policy.
This glaring fact puzzled me for years. It was obvious that the "announted" class was NOT directing the JW as a group or class but a few unknown writers (mostly those NOT of the announted) at the corporate headquarters.
To correct this cognitive error of fact, they changed the doctrine to only include the "governing body" as "Christ's Brothers," who they claim will be "kings ruling over the earth" with Jesus.
Is that "good news" for anyone? Would you want old Steven here to be in charge of bringing back to life your family, deciding weather you live or die during the "thousand year reign" on earth depending on how faithful and obedient you are to their "kingdom"???

I agree that the governed body isn't the discreet slave. But my problem is God did say he will bring an end to this wicked world and destroy Satan. People now don't believe this because of these failed predictions of JWS . I still believe the wrath of God will be brought on wicked mankind.
I think they are too busy kissing the tower😂
