He is a red toy poodle ( as he's grown his fur has gotten a little lighter)
He is 2 years old - Lifespan 12-16 years
He costs: £2800
He is from a championship pedigree line
Temperament: easy-going, playful energetic. Overall low maintenance

My heart couldn't take it when you said, "close your eyes" and he did! Too cute!! I love watching videos like this, especially from owners like you and Runi (who are amazing at having that balance between being strict and playful with your pup. That way he knows discipline, but also love and enjoyment 🥰 ) so thank you for sharing! Rudi reminds me a lot of my sweet boy. He was a German shep/Siberian husky mix but he was medium sized, thank the Lord lol, and so full of energy but well behaved for the most part lol

Great job! And its a great way to save money. Just remember to groom around his bum bum and to pluck the hair in his ear. Puddles hair will lock up in these places if not maintained well.
Raven & Runi you guys trained him so well!! Rudolph is such a sweet boy!! I gave my dog a bath today and it was not like this 🤣

Thank you for sharing this! I’m fostering a little rescue poodle at the moment and had no idea how to groom him. He is so timid and I was worried about frightening him. Now I feel confident :)

I got a set of fantastic grooming scissors for dogs, in a case, they have curved scissors for the top knot and thinning scissors too , and regular scissor , all with safety rounded ends, and they were less than £15 on Amazon 🐩🐩🐩

Thanks for sharing your video! I home groom too : ) I recently learned that a dog's range of motion is different in their front legs, compared to their back legs. So when handling them, sometimes they fight us because we are asking them to go beyond that normal range of motion. Just wanted to share, in case you wanted to look more into that too.

I had to just keep rewinding it when you were cutting his hair on his face because he was being so good oh good my dog starts running away the minute I bring the scissors out of the drawer. When I groom him at home it's literally like trying to groom a kangaroo. You did a great job, well done ! And he is adorable. My dog has the same type of fire he is a pomepo pomeranian and poodle mix.
I love dog grooming videos. It’s so relaxing 😌 lol I’m unfortunately allergic to dogs and cats and anything else with fur but I want a dog so bad. Trying to decide between a labradoodle, toy poodle, miniature poodle, or Basenji breed, especially since Basenji are known for their silence and they don’t smell. But I love the curls of poodles so I can’t decide.... 🙄🙄🙄

I know this comment is 3 months old but if it helps, my dad is incredibly allergic to all animals with fur, but we recently got a mini poodle and he hasn’t had any symptoms at all. Poodles really are the most “hypoallergenic” you can get so I think it’d be your best bet to get full mini or toy poodle! I hope your journey to being a fur parent goes smoothly

I just adopted a 6 year old miniature poodle who's very timid. I hope we reach this level of comfort soon!! (cause she needs a bath😗)
Give your poodle plenty of cuddles, bring their fav toys and gradually build up size from bowl to bath you use. You will do a great job 😌

@@RavenNavera She's a beautiful 12 year old mutt who has always been terrified of water for no apparent reason. We think the little kids at the place she was born may have been a factor. They were a rowdy bunch. Thank goodness for bacon or she'd never be clean.😄
