I have been a fan boy of Dr. Mattu for a while. I have always found his analogies makes very complex concepts and makes it understandable. And with his "unique," sense of humor, the lectures are entertaining and fun to listen too. If anyone wants to learn ECGs - Dr. Mattu is your guy.

This man single handedly changed the way we manage "dramatic peri-arrest looking " CHF. Kudos for your efforts Dr.Mattu , to make a difference for people like me, working remote in the middle of the ocean...!!

As a paramedic over the last 20 years, we have seen a significant uptick in cardiac wheezes preceding these events. Do you have any idea why? 4:14 🎉🎉❤
PS long time watcher I use all of your videos for training

Fluid build up is too large that it compresses the smaller airways and this causes the wheezing

What if you have low bp on presentation and /or significantly increased creat.
I know we will diurese regardless in florid pulmonary edema but what if all components are present as they often can be.

We give furosemide infusion, like 1-4 mg/hour and inotrope infusion. Titrate with BP and urine output. In patients with increased creatinine slow continuous ultrafiltration is also an option.
