- KTM comes very ready to race, but still i have a few changes i like to do on a brand new bike. I'll show you what changes i do in this video.

Byter du inte ramskydd? Jag kör med acerbis, bättre grepp och de går högre upp så man slipper repa ramen med stövlarna. Tycker äldre hojarna 12-16 var bättre på det sättet, ingen ram som går ut lika mycket. Även luftburkslocket klarade sig på de äldre. Nya modellerna så äter ju stöveln hål på luftburken på 30-50h beroende på körstil.

Do you run Michelin enduro medium even outside competition? If so why not a motorcross tire with longer knobs?
I haven’t found any front tyre that matches the enduro medium when it comes to all round riding. I tested a few motocross tyres but nothing that beats the enduro medium so far.
if you are running a tyre to race on, you dont want to change what you are used too.

Nope. Never done anything with the engines on all the bikes I’ve had.
The only thing I don’t care for about this bike is the fact that it’s not at my house. 😜😜😜

@@ENDUROSCHOOLCOM I actually have a 2023 300sx coming. I tried to also get. 350sx but the dealer I do business with had already sold it for what he had and I’ve got a 2022 300 XCW right now that I ride in the woods. But that doesn’t mean I still can’t be jealous of that sweet ride you have .
How much did the build cost you if you dont mind me asking?
Hmm. Good question. If we look at the dealer price If you should buy everything it would be around 7200€/$. And the suspension being the biggest cost. :)
@@ENDUROSCHOOLCOM Its alot, would love to stay on an exc but the suspension stock is just waay too soft, and it’s another 5 grand for a good suspension. So we’ll see what happens next purchase.
@@woadiefilms I could highly recommend the WP cartridge kit and rebuild the shock. I have that setup in my exc 350 bike and love that setup. Then you’re approx 1500€ minus on your account :)

No, it's extreme grip on the whole seat. The ribbed part is only to save you when you're about to loose it ;)
Good bike but why not the 500 one?
I used to race the 500 but I prefer the characteristics of the 450. The 500 is more like a tractor ;)

Haha. Well I would say it’s the most ready to race bike on the market :)
This is why I chose not to buy a KTM. It still remains one of the BEST bikes you can buy but I find it insulting that after dropping the better part of $10k, I have to upgrade several parts. Not happening. I decided not to ride- probably saved myself many future injuries to boot- so win win. I rode for years, consider myself as having been very lucky. I still get out there but usually with a roll cage and seatbelt- UTV. You all should look into the MOAB, UTAH area- it's incredible if you like to ride, hike, camp or 4x4.

Dry sad attitude
@@ENDUROSCHOOLCOM Here is another of my favorite trails in Moab- KANE CREEK. I did this on a rented KRM 350. They rent them in town- you can ride on the road too! This trail starts out scenic and easy but like most trails in Moab that is deceptive as the trails and this one in particular gets progressively much more challenging. You can always turn back around anytime if ego will allow. I went all the way to the end (end up on a paved road back to town.) The first half to 75% is the best part IMO. @@Crust2013 You might be right but it's my choice. I also suffered a mTBI which I don' like to talk about but it has chang3ed my once freestyle attitude. At one point I was planning to race motocross- so I get the whole you live once, attitude. Years ago, I would have made a comment as you did. All I can say is sometimes your perspective changes after life altering experiences...but hey, you do you. I hope you stay safe and ride your way for years to come. I still do get out there- just in even more powerful 4x4's and UTV's now. I find it just as fun...and a whole lot safer. I do not feel like I am missing out at all. The community is also a lot of fun- check out "Easter Jeep Safari Moab", UT. Tell me how many of them look "sad" LOL.
