Had mine for a year now and it’s great, it has its faults but so does every car. Range in winter expect 120-140 in summer 160-190 depending on speed and how brave you are.
Cheers for this, looking at buying one for an 86 miles round commute. I have electric charging at work, so I know it can do it easily and not stressfully!
I love mine, only thing I hate is how inefficient it is, even in normal mode and the buggy app that comes with the car. But apart from that it's a great little car!
Just found this. Just looking for a 2020 / 2021 used version. Pretty much what I found when I tested one for 2 days a year or so ago. Love them and perfect for me. Upgrading from diesel mk1 208.
It's subjective but it really is a nicely proportioned good looking car. If you could put TEsla insides into a car that was this size, and look... it would sell like hot cakes. I too and an old 205/rally fan T16 et al. Imagine this with model 3 performance running gear.
I've ordered the GT in nera black but the white looks so damn good. I'm not a fan of the gloss black wheel arch covers, wish it was optional as it makes the suspension look higher than it is.
Probability is that they used the same chassis as the ICE version that’s why not enough range. Usually the newer EVs are wider and longer in size to cater for larger batteries, leg room is spacious too.
This car was designed from scratch (as well as the Corsa) to fit electric drive train and ICE. The range is because it’s a EV “super mini” and this e208 actually has one of the best ranges in the class. Beaten only by the Zoe.
Am I the only driver in the UK who drives *slower* on winding country roads? Bunnies and hedgehogs are my friends. Good to see that the boot will fit a fully grown adult though.. x
Tested one last year and couldn't believe how bad the range was. Struggled to do 120 miles which is awful as it's advertised as 211 !!! Ended up buying a Tesla on the Peugeot dealers recommendation 😮. And have also bought an MG5 for my business . . Managed to do 224 miles in the MG beating the WLTP by 10 miles and still had range left. . . Europeans have a LONG WAY to go to catch the Asians and Americans !!!!
I was especially interested to hear you say that the car loses little if any charge if not used for a while. Do you have a notion of what would happen if, say, in winter with minus 0 temperatures one left it in an airport car park for a month, (a) would it likely successfully still start on return after so long in the cold and (b) what rough percentage drop in charge would it have sustained over such a period...?
Every car has a small battery under the front of the car that runs the electrics eg lights, computers. On petrol/diesel cars these also start the engine. On electric cars, this starts the computers. These batteries tend to fail after being left for a long time even on fully electric cars. The only car that doesn't have this little battery is the Tesla model 3. So in answer to your question, leaving an electric car for a month without starting it will PROBABLY be ok because all that little battery has to do is run some computers and lights when you turn it on. However because that little battery is made from old technology it can still die it left idle for a month or two. I know this is confusing because you'd think why would you keep that old heavy square battery in the front of an electric car that has a massive battery under the car? The answer is-i don't know, but every electric car still does (except the tesla model 3) .
As for the big battery leaving it overnight probably loses 1% per night regardless of the size of the battery. Unless it's extremely cold like -10 degrees Celsius in which case it's more like 3% over night. That will slow down after a few percent because batteries want to offload their electricity desperately when they're full and retain their charge better when they're less than 100%. I'm gonna totally make this up but imagine you left your car for a month, it would probably still have 60% charge when you came back.
Overpriced and inadequate range... The Peugeot is a nice little vehicle but financially and use ability it fails... Get the E version of this vehicle down to around £25 000, with 350 mile range (in all weathers), a charge time of 95% charge ) and total vehicle weight of
Look at it! 😂 actually made me LOL.

I will guess you mean in miles? I'll be getting mine soon (using metric) also, thank you for this info!
I am getting 100 miles in winter atm. Can't use eco mode because heating dies in eco mode. Everything else about the car amazing.
Currently a week in with this car and am averaging around 140-150, looking forward to see how it goes in the summer

Great review. Love the radar stops and then carries on lol. So brilliantly French lol 😂
You come across as a an honest friendly guy ! I wish you had a dealership in Ireland We would definitely do business and get me a model 3 👌🏻👌🏻
Thank you 🤗
We have supplied cars to clients in Ireland before. Foot passenger over on ferry, collect car and straight back on same boat!
@@RSEV good to know ! I’ve to sell my ice first , plant to move it in May theirs year .
Very nice but honestly £30000 for such a short range?!! Its this sort of price that puts people off EVs.
I like 208 ev but I am waiting for second version with 115kw new engine (Japan) and little bit bigger battery :-) Great review!!!

Great video, thanks, I looked at it @)

You'll remember it was blue at FC show....
Great competition for the Zoe
Serge is the new unit of measurement for boot capacity.
When you popped the boot, I laughed out loud
We test drove one, found it awkward to get in and out of the back too!
If you wanna do a Kona review, you're welcome to borrow ours!
Will do... in fact I have an additional suggestion.

Got a GT Premium - great fun in Sport mode
Very helpful,thanks
Does it have the function to call it to you or start defrosting it from your phone like the tesla?
Would be excellent if it was 3 door and panoramic roof.

Disappointed to hear your range estimates! Just bought a used 22 edition

YES! Peugeot! YESSSSSSS!
They might get better in future EV's ...
Is inside the car a nice place to be?
The symbolism of trying to run Elon Musk over is great. Had me 🤣😂
When I look at a car like that I just want to look at it. that's all I can do
major problems in a serious frontal intact due cost cutting design thats typical of ice car design
