    Thank you so much Robert. I saw this painting last week and have tried to recreate it 3 times without success. Painted along with you tonight and it’s a much better effort 🥰

    Love the handling of the shadows. Perhaps doing Vermeer’s Milkmaid would be helpful for a future study

    Do you ever try making a watercolor version of an oil painting? I’ve been enjoying that.

      Yes, I have regularly made videos using oi paintings as references. A few of Edward Seago's for sure.

      Thank you. I like this painting too, such a good feeling of sunlight in the scene. There is a lot to learn from Sargent paintings.
