Nat Hearn thanks for the flexibility program i helped me a lot because I made my own version of the program and add some of your stretching exercises into my own so thanks man because now I can kick higher than I could before
If your training and working towards improvement then you are far from a loser. Losers don't even try to apply themselves to something. As my Kendo Sensi said "improvement is measured in milimeters".
Love the long form videos! Great tips and you are an amazing practitioner! W as always, you have such a great way of showing and explaining! You are HIM!
Pls do more stretching videos it would really help me. Also more videos about balance because I always find myself wobbling when I try and execute the kicks.❤
I don't disagree, but I started training in my mid 50s and now am almost 60. I do weight training, I do self defense training, I do boxing, Mauy Thai (or more general kickboxing). As an older adult training is that what is most difficult is when each of the classes pushes me into muscle building exercises such as doing push-ups. My weight trining regime assumes certain rest days and I started improving a whole lot when I respected rest days instead of weight training every day, So I do well but then these classes want me do do muscle building exercises such as push-ups which totally messes up my rest periods. And then I get injuries because I don't get the rest.
How much time an average person would take to reach a somewhat good level in martial art and he can perform some smooth kicks and has good bone conditioning?(Just to get an idea, ik everyone is different)
Ive been streching a lot for the past weeks and my back legs start hurt more and more, do you have tips for stretches that have lower risk of hurting me while stretching?
It depends on how you stretched because insome cases, you may have gotten DOMS due to the new training or if not you stretched a littke too deep in and put too much pressure on your hamstrings
Strech Strength your body Perform slowly agar acche se nahi kar paa rahe ho technique ko Record yourself Look other people who are better than you Don't compare
1. I dont reccomend punching surfaces plain bare-handed 2. Depends on consistency 3. If you're new at punching or knuckle training it would normally get peeled off due to the skin having a smaller layer 4. I recommend wearing gloves, handwraps, or take it easier
brother dont worry about ur weight, just train and enjoy it and you'll lose that fat and gain more muscle in due time, dont be ashamed and keep at it 👊💯
Martial arts are a great way to force yourself to burn some form of calories. They're thus good for anyone to practice. Lowering your weight will improve your mobility, improving your martial arts. Putting the two together, that is, practicing martial arts and lowering your weight, will teach you good discipline and increase your quality of life. Go for it!
@tedor7988yeah i was fat when i started karate but when i left it i was strong and muscular + flexible. So martial arts are highly-recommended for overweight ppl. Atleast in my opinion
You build up to it, you have to condition yourself until you can learn how to take hits. I don't like being hit myself but in time I actually became accustomed to it.
@@drnafari0us962 Try to get accustomed to dodging, parrying, and blocking. If you really don't wanna get hit try to do more grappler martial arts like bjj, aikido, and traditional slam wrestling
Excellent video. Your English speaking was a bit too fast for me (Ukrainian-American here). I did gymnastics for 14 years and have the stretches but haven't trained to kick the bag (or some tall person's head).
Start with doing 1 or 2 pushups every day, except rest days. Do that until it becomes easy to do, then add a push-up or two and do 3 or 4 push-ups on non rest days. Repeat that process of slow and consistent improvement until you can do more and more push-ups.
Hey, I really like your videos..Can you react to the street fights and the marshal arts used in them and some tips and advise that we can use in those situations..
@Bragemaster what do you mean step 4? It goes by weeks and ramps up in difficulty and everyday is different stretches and strengthening with the same warm up method. It's figure of 8s and squares and 6 inch hold and lift. Squat to hamstring stretch, half splits etc
